Mabett seat covers for those with heated seats

I got the mabett seat cover set in black as a prime day deal. Came in last night! Been having second thoughts as I live in NY where we get some nasty cold and snowy weather. I’m cautious using the mabett covers as they are thick (good for protection) but that may hinder the heated seat operation/effectiveness. Can anyone comment on their results? I can’t seem to find anyone talking about it. Thanks!!

I’ve always thought heated seats were leather? Or does Maverick. Have heated cloth seats? Hope this isn’t a dum question.

Yes on XLT cloth seats and luxury package adds heated seats and steering wheel

I have a different brand of seat covers, but the heated seats still come through the material just great. It’s an XLT with cloth seats and CalTrend Neosupreme covers (similar to neoprene).

My dad didn’t either until he got his 16 Chevy. Thought cloth heated seats was great. Now he’s in a newer one with leather again.

My concern would be more with the air bags in the seats. Will the seat cover seam open up when/if the air bag is deployed? Gotta admit I do like the heated steering wheel and the heated cloth seats.

They have a quick tear side for the airbags. I like the cloth as well, especially in winter, but with my job I’m dirty at the end of the day and want something that wipes off easily.
