I just bought some seat covers from Ford for my 2025 Ford Maverick 2.5 hybrid. There is a label on the sign of the sea cover that has an X on it that says I should not use the seat covers with heated seat is that true?

Certainly it seems to be true there's a label that says that. I kid, I kid! It's probbly telling you that you'll melt something that ought not be melted if you let it heat up like that.

I have a 24 XLT with heated front seats. I bought the Ford Accessories seat covers for it. The material is a "twill" type fabric. Much like cotton twill pants. They have a "no seat heat tag" on it. Not the prettiest seat cover but it protects the seats from sweat and dirt. I put them on and having been using the seat heaters for two winter seasons. No problem so far.
But I don't leave the seat heater on for longer than about 15 minutes. Even on the low setting my seat heater gets too hot to leave on much longer than that. By the way I have adjusted the seat heat lower using FORSCAN but it still gets too hot on the low setting. I am going to have to re-adjust the seat heat even lower.
My point being is that if you want a seat cover and use seat heat you would want to very carefully consider what type of cover you can and can't get away with.

My dickies canvas car seat covers are thick and denim sturdy.
My seat heat comes through just fine with no loss at all. It does take two or three minutes longer to heat the seat cover then get to me but works just fine.
I remote/key fob start from inside my warm cabin and when I get in my Mav ten minutes later I gots toasty seats and a toasty steering wheel.
It’s an Ecoboost If that matters.
