Hi, am i the only one to have interior noises? Maybe I missed a thread. My 2024 has a "knock" in the dash area on certain bumps and rattle in the driver's side b pillar. Anyone else? Thanks

I have a very annoying dash rattle on the passenger side. It is in the dash and mostly happens in hot weather. The other rattles are from the windshield and usually happen in cool weather and on certain road surfaces. Dealer wants to pull the dash for rattle #1, but I declined. I've heard horror stories of even more rattles appearing, post "fix."

My '23 Hybrid with 16k miles has otherwise been trouble-free, including the batteries. But the damned rattles are very annoying some times. I've taken to playing music louder than I used to, to mask the annoyances. But really can't do that if I have passengers. 🙄

Hi there! Can you send us a private message with your VIN and dealer info so I can look into this knock concern. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. It is too bad they have these noises. I mean, how long had Ford been making vehicles? They know how find the noises and correct them on pre-production models but choose to not do so. I know it is the bean counters saying "hey, we are selling them faster than we can build them, why fix it?" I wish companies had more integrity than that, but it is the reality of business. Otherwise, I love the truck. Averaging about 45 mpg with 90% of the miles on interstate roads at 70+ mph. I think the EPA is off on their mpg ratings...should be higher.

I had an extremely annoying rattle coming from my rear window. I took it to the dealership 6 times. They did the usual "we can't hear it, bring it back when it's more consistent" and also changed the c pillar trim which only started rattling when they broke the clips during the first visit. I finally made the service manager ride around with me so he couldn't claim that they couldn't hear it again, and wouldn't you know it suddenly he thought the rear window might be rattling like I said 5 visits earlier.

I'm the end they ended up ordering a new power sliding window and after it was installed it's been silent.

I also had a bit of dash / a-pillar creek, but I fixed that with some foam wedged between the plastic and windshield where the two pieces of plastic meet together.

I do have the occasional rough road or big bump rattle, but nothing consistent and nothing unexpected in any modern plastic interior at this point.

6 times! I hate going to the dealership for any repairs...even warranty. I am so thankful for the 'right to repair' laws so, I can access the manufacturers repair and programming software, for a fee of course. Unfortunately, dealerships have to follow strict manufacturers procedures for diagnosis and repairs. And the techs are paid based off of shop hourly rate instead of a salary or straight timeclock hours. It makes the diagnostic process mostly unaffordable. I mean, who wants to or can pay $150/hour (or more) to diagnose a rattle? Dealership/manufactures need to revise billing for diag work. The current system promotes firing the "parts cannon" instead of true diagnostic work. I know, finding the technicians to do the proper diag is a problem too. Okay, I am done with my rant! Hahaha
