Got my 2024 Maverick XL modified build, lowered on Eibach springs + 20" wheels

Finally got my XL complete. I might still add a small amp/sub combo and order/cut the hitch cover to clean that area up. Otherwise, I'm done modding

'24 XL hybrid. Base model, only option is hitch.

I actually have a can of color match paint/primer/CC that I bought to do the handles but ended up find a set at a salvage yard. I'd love to at least do the mirrors but I can't find good info about getting the glass out to get the caps off.

I removed the mirror and masked the cap with painters tape. So much easier. Tailgate handle was a breeze as well. Even bought the tailgate panel cover and ptm'd it while I was at it.

Ah yeah, I recall you commenting on another thread the other day about this. I'd rather just remove the mirror glass and do it right. I don't understand how this is the "easier" route. The glass should clip out, then there are 4 bolts holding the cap on. Once off, sand, prime, paint, clear.

It does with a screwdriver, the cap size and reassembly is just a tedious pita. It was just 10 times easier than disassembling the entire mirror just to paint the cap. When you can mask it off and save so much time and not have to risk scratching the mirror cap when reassembling it.

How did you do your door handles? Did you paint the MIC ones or order the Lariat ones and paint them? If the latter route how much did they run and do you have part #'Spaceship? Are they hard to switch out?

I found a set of Bronco Sport handles at a salvage yard. Very easy to switch them out.

OK, I’ve been doing that with several parts also. I’ve got mirror cap sitting in one of my carts somewhere.
