2024 Ford Maverick XLT Tremor

Hey guys just wanted to share my 2024 ford maverick tremor I bought myself for my 24th birthday. Got it about two weeks ago will I will list everything I have done to it in another post. To me it is complete I’m just going to be waiting for skid plates to protect the undercarriage but that’s it. I Also drove this thing around the Angeles national forest trails. This thing handles like a little rally car. It loves the higher speeds off-road driving (nothing Crazy) but the tail end also swings out pretty easily (when you want it too) which is pretty cool. Awesome car especially for the price. Got it Msrp off the dealer floor didn’t have to wait at all. Excuse the mess in the pictures had just finished installing the air design fender flares.

How are you liking the Air Design flares? Do they actually stick out past the wheels to catch the dirt and mud? The stock Tremor tires stick out past the fender and throw stuff down the side of the truck and I've been considering these to remedy the problem. But, they are pricey and I don't want flares that are merely decoration.

Nice in Terrain. One thought - be sure to give i some time to break it in properly. 1,000 miles or so.

To me they work perfectly. They are a little pricey but you can get a couple hundred dollars off using the ford rewards points for buying the vehicle. The install was very easy. The only thing is I had to buy new body pins because the original removal tends to break them. The main point of the fender flares to me was to protect the lip around the fenders were paint is exposed and to redirect some of the rocks and debris away from the body panels. Very happy with the purchase I feel like theses should have come from the factory in the tremor

Thank you! And yes of course. I actually changed the oil at 500 miles and then again at 1,000 miles before I took it off-roading. Now sitting at 1,300 miles no complaints so far.

I just noticed, did you have the roof painted black or is it a wrap?

I had it wrapped black. I really liked how the 2023 tremor had the carbon grey roof. Unfortunately they discontinued it for 2024 so I had the roof wrapped and I got the windows ceramic tinted
