Found some Area 51 powdercoating powder

I do my own powdercoating at home using a very basic set up (similar to this Harbor Freight option). Was looking at ordering some powder recently and realized that Prismatic Powders now has Area 51 available (see here). I ordered a sample and here's what it looks like against my '23 Mav.

It is an extremely close match. I can only tell a difference if I'm looking at it really close up, and it's sitting right up against the paint in order to do an A/B comparison.

Now I just need to figure out what I can build/add where I can use this color.

Thanks for sharing; that product is a great one to add to my files for future projects. My biggest problem with powder coating always seems to be the size of the part. Even if I had an old electric range in my garage, few parts I might build would fit in it.
The closest "normal" color to Area 51 that I've found to date is called "RAF Blue".

Yes, there have been a few parts I've wanted to coat over the years that didn't fit inside with the oven door closed. For one of them, I bult a temporary "pregnant oven" extension so the part would fit and it worked well.

I did it simple though - I did not relocate any heating elements like some people do. I used it that one time and It's not something I keep on the oven, and I've never had to use again. More info here and here.
