I lucked out and picked up the Ford Accessory Sport Bar on black Friday on line for 25% off and was able to use my Ford Points to pay for it. So far I have had several compliments on how cool it is. It really works with the cyber orange IMO.

That's a good deal. I've never seen a discount from Ford higher than 20%. I'm waiting for a good discount to come back before I get the Air Design fender flares. I really like the Keko. It looks great 👍

Can you install a generic hard tonneau cover with this thing?

Everything always says, "Works with our own products," but the way it's off-set seems like it would work with any hard tonneau cover (or at least a soft one).

What do you think?

LoL Actually I am split on what I want to do, I have a set of Daylighters in my wishlist, but I am worried that they will look too big and cartoony compared to the rest of the vehicle in size.

I am partially wanting to go with NOS Ford Ralley lights to harken back to the 80s Ranger look.

Or another option is go with Bronco Accesory Fog Light kit.

I will gladly take any thoughts on what direction to go.

Actually another member has modified his Bakflip MX4 ( same as the Ford tri-fold) to fit:

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/keko-sport-rack-bakflip-mx4-combo-installed.23130/

I have the Ford version but ran out of time to re-install it last weekend. It will be next weekends project and I will let you know. As for the cheap brands, I think they are too wide and will not work (see Shay's post: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...-unbox-install-review-on-ford-maverick.23916/ )

I don't know about that....you need a better shot from the back looking at the side directly. I have a soft tri-fold and there are bars with it that run the width of the bed at several spots. It covers part of the top plastic molding on the sides to form a somewhat watertight seal and needs to lay flat to prevent water from entering the bed...not perfect but pretty water tight unless you spray a hose or car wash right at the seam. Here is a picture so you can figure it out. I suspect most covers fit in this same general area on the top molding. The small braces would't really be too much of a problem probably but if the bars are too far inward towards the center of the bed it may be a problem with any hard top cover or soft tri-fold type cover that uses metal brace bars across the bed.

As much as I love the old school approach. You are talking about more power running through aftermarket wiring. KC does have alot of LED options aswell as other companies. Price is another factor there aswell.

That's awesome! Now, I'm motivated. No issues with access? The bars don't get in the way of the cover?

Looking at that first picture, the Sports Bar sits on the same part of the bed the cover would. So it would lift up the cover in those 2 areas. That is going to make a gap unless the cover was made with 2 impressions for the bar. Maybe you could cut out two slots on the cover so it fits on the bed sides.

No cutting of tonneau cover side rails is needed. I put tonneau cover foam under side rails, to be safe. It stays dry in the bed.
