There are currently 11,016 total retail unscheduled orders as of 4/8/24. An increase of 374 retails in USOB since last week.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

Anybody know what percentage of the model year has already been scheduled and/or built?

Ford started the model year with 52,941 retail orders. I didn't track the sum of all the increases identifed, but Ford made a ton of progress this year.

As expected, XL seems to be the hang up. Ford started the model year with orders for:
18,529 XL
22,765 XLT
11,647 Lariat
1,059 Tremor

Today they have orders for:
6,940 XL
2,754 XLT
1,212 Lariat
110 Tremor

So, discounting any added orders over the year, Ford has scheduled:
63% of XL orders
88% of XLT orders
90% of Lariat orders
90% of Tremor orders (likely higher because Tremor has been in rounding error territory for months)

So, pretty clear why Ford doesn't want any new XL orders.
