Maverick XL hybrid on KMC wheels and 245/70r17 tires

I like that size of tires, is this size of 245 will work with original XLT rims? To be look lifted a little bit.
Is your fender dosn’t rub the side wall? ( because big tire size )

245/65 r17 is the max you want to go on stock rims. Really it's the max you can go no matter what without rubbing.

Worse case is a die grinder and a little mig stitching on the pinch weld

I’ve fit 255/75/17 on stock wheels .
Tiny rubbing at full lock and compression .32” tire . Will be doing new front crossmember and stretching from arms for 33” soon .
I think yours has a great stance on the wheels with that lift!

Old man stupid question time.. could you tell us what that set up cost you and also what you did with the old never used steelies and tires? My blue one comes in about a month.

Wheels, tires, and front strut lift cost right around $2,000. I still have 3 steelies and also a set of bronco sport wheels I had on it as well if any one is interested. They have roughly 1,600 miles on the bronco sport wheels and 600 miles on the steelies.

stock crossmember just came in to make a fixture of.
Arms , stock length to start , extended with axles are work in progress still.

Finally got my wheels and tires on the Maverick! 2023 Ford maverick XL Hybrid for reference.

Wheels: KMC impact 17x8 38mm offset
Tires: Milestar Patagonia AT/R 245/70r17

Drives smooth and with approx. 500 miles on them my mpg is 36.8. Not bad at all!
