The snow has stopped, and the rain had started. The temperatures are up and many days of rain.

11" of wet heavy stuff. Still no power. There some definite disadvantages to living on side of a mountain. Now, the truck has a little character... All told, rather minor bruises. Only one little bit of broken skin (paint).

By necessity. Driveway is 13 degree uphill slope for ~200ft. No going up unless clear pavement. A level parking area near street is the only possibility, even though under trees. Trees were recently 'manicured' by power company and have never shed like this before. We were forecast to receive 3-5" with rain preceding snow. We beat that handily to both horror and surprise. Trees down all over, power estimated to be restored late tonight.

Gotcha. One case where the AWD version would've been handy! I have a similar driveway, my AWD Mav scoots right up through the snow like a champ.
