Hey, first time posting here. Truly appreciate all the knowledge I’m gaining by ya’ll’s post.

Is it me or do the Hybrid orders take longer from order to delivery than the EB’s? My XL Hybrid order was established 6/23 and I get the canned email from Ford corporate every 45 days stating there are still sourcing issues. It seems those of you whom ordered an EB, your order was fulfilled quicker than the Hybrid orders…..your thoughts.

Seriously though...Tim from Long McArthur. You can fast forward some of his videos straight to Maverick. But he explains details at the beginning of his videos. Check out ford dealer in centralia...they got a couple hybrids on the lot. MSRP

You are 100% wright hybrid do take longer. My 22 eb took took 11 months and my 23 rollover to a 24 hybrid took 17 months. I have seen on this site the 24's are coming in,in less then 6 months.

Both the XL trim level and the Hybrid make this a harder vehicle to get. Plus how many Maverick allocations your dealer has adds into the mix. All this affects when your order maybe chosen for production.

Ford is not building as many XLs percentage-wise verse higher-profit XLT and Lariat trim levels. Then add in the demand for the Hybrid. They're building XL Hybrids but it harder to get than some other trim/drivetrain combos. Find the most current production constraints thread here and it will breaks down this info.

Hope you get your Mav soon!

My XL Hybrid took over 13 months from order day to delivery.
XL trim level is a constraint.
Hybrid powertrain is a constraint.
Your dealer's vehicle allocations (or lack of) may be a constraint. Ask them if they have enough allocations left to get yours built this model year. They may or may not give you a straight answer, depending on how honest they are with their customers.

According to what I've read online, almost 80% of new orders are for Hybrids and Maverick orders have doubled from this time last year. Ford Maverick is now outselling the Ford Ranger and also outselling the toyota tacoma.

From what I am seeing in the Ordering, Pricing, Production, Tracking, Delivery forum, the unavailability lists do seem to affect hybrid and XL Maverick production. The unavailable list also seems to be growing. Latest below.
Ford Maverick Hybrid takes longer (than EcoBoost) from order to delivery?? availabl

I ordered the XLT 12/01/23 and it was built 02/03/24. My order with the 2.0 Ecoboost engine and FX4 package enabled there to be no limited or exhausted availability items. I ordered with the Co-Pilot360 package which has been added to the shortage list since mine was built.

My salesman kept trying to push me into an Ecoboost because of the delay. I'm so happy I stuck to my guns. I've had my truck for 3 months and still get so happy when I see 60+mpg in town.

He left the dealership a couple months later so I think he knew he was changing jobs and was just trying to maximize his chance at getting his cut from my purchase.

I check with my dealer today and he said my order status is "unscheduled, clean". He added there are no constraints to my particular order, just not scheduled yet.....hmmm. Hoping this is good?.?.?

Cannot agree enough. Tim (@fordvideoguy) has been a godsend on explaining the Ford reports you may see here on MTC really mean (like ""Exhausted Availability" doesn't mean what you might think at the outset). He streams live on YouTube every Tuesday (I think) and the following day it's available as a video to watch.. I suggest you watch 2 or 3 of them to get a better idea on what is going on with Mavericks (and many other Ford vehicles too).

No constraints other than being XL and hybrid.....

I assume that he meant no "options" that you could remove to improve your chances of scheduling.

The other question to ask your dealer is how many allocations they have remaining (total, and for February scheduling). If they have no Maverick allocation in February, then your Maverick won't be considered for scheduling in February.

"Unscheduled, clean" just means Ford has received the order, it was filled out correctly and has not been scheduled for production. There are two constraints to your order: The XL trim level and the Hybrid power train. It doesn't mean your order won't get built. But XL + Hybrid mean it may be less likely to get built, compared to an ecoboost truck with a higher profit trim level like XLT or Lariat. So hope for the best, but realize it may take longer for your order to get built and at least plan accordingly.

Thanks Tomcatfighter,
I watched Tim's Post on YouTube this week and took his advise to upgrade to a XLT for a light bit quicker build. The small dealership I ordered through agreed with the stratagy.
Thanks again,
Ron
