I hesitate to call this a build since it's really bolting on parts, at least so far, but I'll share what I'm working on with the group. Normally my builds are restorations:

It's nice working on a clean vehicle. I installed UPR clean and dirty side catch cans, a JCR Offroad engine cover, a Steeda strut brace (left over from a Bronco Sport project), and an aFe air intake this week after buying the Mav a couple of weeks ago. Next steps are some interior upgrades including a full set of Focal speakers and tweeters. I'm considering an intercooler upgrade with a downpipe and exhaust as well but need to check on warranty restrictions.

It's hard to say since I've only had it on the truck for a day. The install was easy. I chose it because the S&B won't clear the engine cover.

Yeah I heard about the fitment issue on the SB - Is the SB still the only complete intake that replaces the OEM reduced size elbow that goes into the turbo inlet ?

As far as I know. I don't feel that I'm giving up much if anything with the aFe. The removable cover in the side of the air box should allow for any additional air that the engine requires.

Nice. I have 1980 Eagle in a similar state. Motor is a freshened 258 from a CJ7 interior is stripped and painted, exterior is waiting on me to sand it. Years ago I built 74 Maverick with a hot 306. All my other work is building ratty old jeeps to beat on. I do want to build up the 5.2 magnum it's tranny and case from my 93 ZJ to swap in the eagle one day. Fun stuff but it's hard to keep em from rotting here.

Are those wheels or wheel covers on the Mustang?

I added fender flares today as well as mounting a JB4 unit. Installation of each took about an hour. One connection to the JB4 is accessed from beneath the truck.

Sorry, I missed your question until just now. Those are the factory wheels and covers. 14", baby!

My first car was a 66 Mustang and it had those wheel covers. I have never seen them again on any Mustang. We called them 'spinners' as I recall. Loved that car and am jealous of yours! Good luck with it.
