I called Ford and they say that I do not have a private offer. Has anyone found a way for the dealer to fix a mistake when getting bumped to a 24 from a 23? just went in to production today a week early!!

Why not put a new order in, and make sure he does it correctly this time. The order bank is still open.

Don't you have a copy of your 2023 order/preview sheet? That will have the original order # on it.

Hey HRG, probably you remember better than me but I seem to recall that there was a deadline you had to place your new '24 order by to qualify for the '23 rollover price protection. Seemed like it was about 45 days or so. However a good bit of the stuff I remember, now that I'm old, I'm finding never ever really happened!

Fordvideoguy from Long McArthur Ford has talked about this quite a few times.
He has been able to find some with a little diligence. Often due to a name misspelling or some other oddity between the two orders.

Here is this week's video. I can't remember if he talked about it this week.

I had a very helpful Ford marketing rep call my dealer on who to contact to correct but dealer still hasn’t been able to figure it out. I know others have but my sales rep is just dragging his feet on this.

I originally ordered my truck in June of 2022 as a 2022, I got a 2024 truck 2 weeks ago and I asked the dealer if I got a deal for waiting ao long. they had told me I would get a rebate when they switched form 22 to 23 but told me there was deal deal going from 23 to 24. Are they lying to me?

My dealer tried to play the same game. I ordered mine back in 2021 and just took delivery of my Maverick in January. I had to stay on top of them and called #ford when I felt the dealer was not in the up and up. I am sorry to here about your original order. See if your order number had changed from your original one and also see if you can provide proof that you deposit was moved from one order number to the one you have today?

Your dealer doesn't actual order as reorder, all they need to do is use the same order number as the 2023 order number. If they didn't, is not too late. They just need to contact their Sales and Inventory Specialist.

Does anyone have a good phone number to get ahold of someone at Ford to find out about my private offer. Dealer told me I had one when order went from 22-23 but not when it went from 23-24. I wonder if they mnade a mistake or they just kept it and are lying to me. I asked salesman again before delivery and he said know. I know dealer principal personally and sent him email yesterday and no answer

Almost sounds like they didn't put your 2023 order in or else you would have received the email from Ford about the transition from 23 to 24. The best thing is for your dealer to reach out to their Sales and Inventory Specialist to get the offer generated. Let me know if that doesn't work, I have one other way to get it for you but it's a last resort. It really needs to be your dealer that puts in the effort to resolve this.

Fordvideoguy Thanks for your input here is my total experience so far.

Heres my Bad experience picking up 24 XLT Hybrid. I had told them with emails how I wanted it titled and no to all the extras. When I got there truck was still snow covered. They washed it offf but Business mgr had not even started on paperwork. i was paying with a check. I waited 1 1/2 hrs for him to get done . One saleperson at least showed us how to get Ford Pass on phone but that was extent of showing anything on the truck. After Ieft , I got about 10 minutes from dealership and they called and said they forgot to put Temporary tag on it so I had to go back and get it. I did not fill out the Ford review but yesterday files a complaint against dealer for not using my private offer as I had originally ordered a 2022., and was told when they switched to 23 I would get $2750, They told me there was no private offer for wiating on 24 model. I even emailed them the codes & a copy of the lettr from Ford to get it so we will be fighting about that as they have never answered my email. I hope it doesnt come to filing small claims suit against them
