I've turned everything to max brightness. Both on dash and on the screen itself.

Wondering if anyone finds they cannot even read the screen in sunlight. It's especially bad with reflections off it.

Hopefully an upgraded version is able to be retrofitted in the future, because it's basically unreadable.

At night a different story.

Honestly it wouldn't be a huge deal if my temp control was on the knob but I use it for that and for my apple maps.

On plus side I picked the vehicle up on 9/28/2023 and just put gas in it for the first time @ 540 miles. Four months. $40 / 13.4 gallons and 40.3 mpg (roughly) calculated at the pump assuming they filled it to the tippy top of the tank. It took my a while to figure out that there was no gas cap.

I agree: that screen can be really difficult to read during the day. Anyone know of a "fitted" filter that can be applied to the screen? Something similar to what you can get for a laptop?

Honestly I'd talk with the dealership. I see this complaint from a very few people- leads me to believe it's a defect. Mine is fine even in bright SC sun. (no sunroof)

Never top off the gas tank when filling (or in your case, having it filled). It is bad for the truck and may cause a trouble code and Check Engine Light to come on.
Manual just says "don't overfill" but it does not define that anywhere that I could find. It clicked and I added a little more slowly. So far it's ok.

Define "a little more." Constantly topping off the tank in ANY vehicle built since 1996 can really mess with the emissions/ evaporative systems. It takes awhile, but eventually you'll be looking at some really expensive repairs. If I'm at 11.45 gallons I might go to 11.5, but that's it. That guy on the other side of the pump island, where you can here the pump shutting off 5 or 6 times before he finishes the fill-up? Yeah, he's gonna have problems.

I dunno we have a 2010 Prius and I constantly fully top it off as well.

I don't remember how much more I put in. What does fully topping it off do? How does it hurt the system?

OK I guess I'll just go to first click from now on, as painful as that is!! lol

Hopefully I didn't do any major damage.

Don't do that Once it clicks STOP. It may be fine now But your charcoal canister will take damage and promote purge valve failure, and cause solenoid issues . You say I did and and no problems YET does NOT mean its okay to do.

I can read my info screen fine in day light. Same as past vehicle that had same screen .
