SYNC3 display screen washed out colors

Is it me or are the colors on the Lariat Lux infotainment screen really washed out looking.
I'm coming from an 2018 Audi S4 and thought I set my expectations accordingly but. . . something doesn't seem right.
Almost like the contrast is really low.

Anyone else notice this? All I want to know is if its normal.

Yes, the colors are a bit muted, as you mention. It's a lower-end system, compared to the Audi (and most other vehicles, to be honest). It's not really that big a deal, since maps look great on it, and that's about the most detailed, color-sensitive application you're likely to use in the vehicle.

Our Honda CR-V 2022 has a much better infomat screen/system than the Maverick, however, it's about the cost of the truck. The Lariat should have a better screen and system

I have had a few Fords with the 8” screen. My Lariat Lux screen looks like the rest, and looks good. When I sat in & drove a XLT, with non-sync, I noticed the screen seemed dim to me. Even after playing the brightness. Was glad the Sync system was like my previous cars.

It would be nice to be able to say check other Mavs on the lot, but….
Maybe you can look at an Escape or Bronco Sport for a comparison.

I put mine on night mode all the time. Deeper colors.
