Color of truck on dash display

As I'm sitting there watching the far too, too many announcements that pop up on my display every time I turn it on, I wondered if the color of the truck on display is customized to what you're actually driving. Do blue truck people get a blue truck on the display? Mine if showing a silver/grey model but that's so generic and could cover so many of the shades Ford sells I'm not sure if it's really my color.

It's the same animation for all. There were some even misinterpreting the tow hooks as fog lights as indication Ford had intended them in the design.

I have a silver truck; the "photo" on the screen is a silver truck. That said, I have no idea how it got there, or where it went. Every time I turn on my truck, there is a different display on the screen. I just went in for oil change/tire rotation, now I have 4 numerical figures having to do with mileage. I don't know where they came from or how long they will last or where they will go.

I DO understand the speedometer and gas gauge, so basically I am OK. In the 21 months I have owned the truck, I have NEVER pushed any button on the steering wheel, and turn on the radio only to listen to my Dean Martin tape while cruising chicks.

So, clearly, whatever-the-hell the display is doing, it is doing on its own. Jeez, I miss my Dad's '58 Edsel.

Friend of mine had that car!! Cocoa brown with white hard top...........delicious!!

I've always thought it is more of a Carbonized Gray color.
