Power tonneau cover on hybrid using 12v battery?

Does anyone know the best wat to get 12v to a power tonueau cover on a hybird. With the 12v battery under the back seat it should be easy. Is there a poss threw thru hole from the cab to the box to facilitate the instalation?

If I remember correctly, there is a grommet under the plastic trim compartment, under the back seat. It has an extra "pigtail' for additional wiring. There is also the 12v accessory wiring at the back of the bed.

How do you run 12v to a power tonneau cover on a maverick hybird. With the battery under the back seat it shouldn't be too hard. Is there a hole between the cab and the bed ir will holes have to be drilled. I know there is power pig tails in the bed but it is my understanding the these are switched power.

someone correct me if im wrong but i think you will want to connect it to the wires at the back of the bed of the truck, there's a plastic cap on each side next to the tailgate and if you pop those off you'll see wiring inside for electrical mods. they serve no other purpose other than for modifications. just double check the power rating on the cover

this is all i could find but it contradicts what i said, i would do more research
