Any Canadian Maverick buyers yet with a rollover order? My dealer is vaguely saying Ford will do something to help out with 23 to 24 rollover price protection. My Mav is scheduled for early February build.

October 2022When did you order your 23 model?
Mine too, except that I still do not have a build schedule or VIN. I ordered the same truck as you way back in February, and was the first one in the line at the dealer to rollover on July 17th. Ford Canada never gave the dealers the information required to do a rollover correctly, so I printed off the howto for my dealer. The dealer also claims that they have no information about the price protection mechanism, amounts or dates from Ford Canada. Ford south of the border is much more forthwith and responsive. Ford Canada urgently needs to step up an clarify the Customer anxiety and the Customer excess cost situation that they are causing.I ordered an XLT Hybrid lux, 360, March 23, supposed to be built early Feb. My dealer says I don't get any price protection. I'm not happy about that!
Ford monitors this chat but will remain silent. Sickening how Canadian customers are treated by Ford.Mine too, except that I still do not have a build schedule or VIN. That means the dealer either didn't roll it over properly, or didn't place the order properly in the first place and just placed a new order.Something about "balance out phase". When I get a vin I'm contacting Ford Canada; probably won't help.
This is Canada. It seems like Ford Canada doesn’t have same program as USA. They don’t communicate well with customers. That means the dealer either didn't roll it over properly, or didn't place the order properly in the first place and just placed a new order.
I totally agree! You and RedRider are spot on! Ford Canada has been really disappointing!Ford monitors this chat but will remain silent. Sickening how Canadian customers are treated by Ford.
You are fortunate. Many have waited much longer than me. Ford’s system of ordering orders is flawed no doubt, but I knew from the start I would be in for a long wait. I have come to terms with that. Ford’s poor communication and unfair price increases disappoint me more. Customers in the USA are treated more fairly. How is that possible that you guys are waiting so long?
I placed my order in early August and it's built awaiting shipping.
Aware that Ford Canada doesn't do anything for us. When I ordered there wasn't even a working tracker for Canadian customers. This is Canada. It seems like Ford Canada doesn’t have same program as USA. They don’t communicate well with customers.
Same as it's always been for the Maverick. Allocations for a dealer are king. I ordered my 22 here in Greater Vancouver in late 2021, months after some people in smaller markets in BC. Some of them didn't get their trucks until a year after I did! Larger city dealers tend to get more sales, and therefore more allocations. That would be even more apparent if you order a hybrid. How is that possible that you guys are waiting so long?

Glad to hear you received price protection. Was that a rollover, or was it protection within a model year?Aware that Ford Canada doesn't do anything for us. When I ordered there wasn't even a working tracker for Canadian customers. That said, how the dealers work with Ford is very similar. Dealers in Canada still had to follow the proper ordering system, which I was talking about. A sales manager at at dealer in Quebec talked about it, same ordering system in Canada as the US, just way fewer allocations per dealer. Dealers, most of which are part of mega auto groups now, can be very apathetic to these things, so it's very hit and miss based on the sales person and the GM.
I got price and rate protection on my order in 2022, when things were very crazy in the vehicle market compared to now.
