January 2024 Builds - VIN tracking not working

Finally I got a build date for my XL Hybrid. I called the Ford customer service yesterday to inquire on the status of my order since I have not received any emails in a very long time. I was delighted to learn my order is scheduled for the week of January 22, 2024. They gave me the VIN. The order was as follows...

1. Cactus Grey 2023 Ford XL Hybrid with drop in bed liner and trailer hitch.
2. Ordered at the beginning of the brief order period for 2023s. if memory serves me it was in June of 2022.
3. The order was rolled over to 2024 and I got my Private offer (once again by calling customer service).

However, when I put the VIN into the Ford website, under My Account, it says the Order Number/VIN is invalid. Also the Ford Window Sticker tracker says to try back later that the Window Sticker is not available.

Are other Januay build order waiters seeing the same for their VIN?

Also, I noticed on the Ford build a vehicle that they now upfront mention a $6xx dollar Acquition fee. That wasn't there before. In the fine print it says it is a lessee fee paid to acquire a vehicle lease (guessing).

Sounds pretty normal. Window sticker should show about two weeks before production. But the entire Ford tracking is a bit finicky. I don’t think they put a lot of effort in keeping it updated.

Just to clarify, you are using this site?
https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking

If you have a build date then that link should start to show status. Make sure you are using the correct order number from your MY24 order if they are not the same.

You likely won't see a windows sticker until a few day before your build date.

As for the Acquisition fee, that's on the build page for calculating a lease. If you look at the top right for the calculator and switch the option from lease to finance then the fee goes away. Note that XLs have gone up in price since the order books opened this year as well.

Thanks all for your help. The problem was on my end. I did not copy the VIN number correctly. Using the correct VIN the tracker came up with my Vehicle.

My Maverick dhows a status of "Shipped" today (yeah!) but I still get a 404 for the window sticker, using that address and also the link of the status page.

Shit my 24 hybrid is out of production pending shipment but still won't show a window sticker on the link in the email Ford sent me. I have seen my sticker using the link in some other post on here

My tracking been down for a few weeks too. So I popped into the dealer and had them check it a few weeks back, and my truck was then in Portland, OR and seemingly need another four weeks to get here, Tacoma,WA... Slooooooow shipping!
Also haven't been able to see that window sticker thru Ford's order track website, but the link above from'ilikebike' did work!
