Okay, it's not a Maverick, just an older relative...

They are quite rare here in the Cedar Rapids/Marion are. I saw one two months ago, which prompted me to do some research then order one. Since then, I haven't seen any more. I'm anxious to introduce the Mav to our neighborhood.

It's amazing how similar in size they are. So comparatively, when you're driving a "compact" Ford Maverick, you're essentially driving a "mid-size" Ford Ranger from the late 90s-2000s but with more creature comforts.

Ranger wasn't a mid-size until the 2015's came out. Before that, it was a compact truck and yes, the Maverick is a perfect replacement for my 2011 Ranger.

Prior to the Maverick, my last new vehicle purchase was a 1990 Ranger. That thing was still running at 248,000 when I traded for a 2009 Focus.

The marketing folks at Ford hit a home run with the Maverick. The old Ranger was a good little truck too though

Well now there’s at least 2 in the area, SW side myself. I’ve got an Alto Blue one. I’ve seen a few around town but not very common to see one.

Good to hear from a local Mav owner. I'm looking forward to increasing the population in our area.

I THINK there's an alto blue owner around my place...seen it a few times now. But yes, still a rare sight for me. Even on the few highway trips I've taken only seen one or two others. Too bad Ford didn't anticipate how wildly popular the Maverick would be...unless they deliberately chose to keep supply small to make a few more bucks on each one? Lol

lol, luv the title to post. I am seeing more of the older rangers these days. More then I see Mavericks. Surprisingly many without much rust considering I live in PA where they use salt grime. Hope the Mav's hold up as well.
