I find all sorts of lowering and lifting options. I would love to lower just the rear by 1.5" to make it level with the front. This will improve my opinion of its appearance and give me a slightly lower load height at the tailgate. Does anyone make a spring set to do just that? I'm tempted by the Eibach kit that lowers rear 3.5" and the front 2", but that's more than I want to do to the whole truck. Certainly there's an easy solution out there just to take 1.5" out of the rear.

H R sell a lowering springs, that only lower it 2" in the rear. But you have to buy the whole set. Also you can add a spacer in the rear to bring it up a 1/2 inch. Personally I would just install the whole kit. That kit is a very mild lowering kit. I have the H&R super sports which go 2.5 in front and 3 in the back. Just a thought.

Thanks for the info. I think I found what you're speaking of (H&R Sport Spring Kit #51620=$499), but it appears only for the AWD Mavericks. I need compatibility with the FWD models. (perhaps they are, but the website is misleading)

Eibach makes a kit compatible with the FWD models for $335 that lowers the front 2.5" and rear 3.5" (on hybrids).

I'm having a tough time believing there's not a real demand for a simple kit with rear springs to remove the 1.5" rake on the FWDs. Ideally I'd like to install that as well as airbags for the rare occasion when I do carry a heavier load.

this is the exact thing i'm looking for. a spring kit to drop the rear and level the maverick, and airbags/shocks to support a couple dirt bikes and gear in the back when necessary. let me know if you find anything

A year later, March 2025 and H&R refuses to make FWD application specifically for us but people here have used an Escape FWD lowering springs. Eibach seems to be the only maker for FWD Maverick springs. Good-win is AWD only. Which i heard offers same ride quality as oem but lowers.
