Anyone here with a 11/13 build week or later had their production delayed?

My truck shows built for a week now. I chatted with Ford again today and they told me my expected delivery date is 11/26-12/2. Didn't seem to understand why I don't think that's accurate and just told me that's all they know.

I called Ford's incentive# to ask about the farm bureau 500$ discount. Was told not sure if it'd be extended, certificate expires 1/02/24. She said ask dealer for price protection.

My 2024 XL Hybrid was scheduled for the week of Nov 13th, and went into production on 11/18.
It's still "In Production" as of today. I contacted Ford Customer Service a couple of weeks ago and they informed me that this vehicle had returned from the Body Company (for the SIBL I presume) to the Plant on Nov. 22.

I agree with other posters who have surmised that there apparently were production issues for that week, and possibly at least one week following.

Since it appears to not be specific to XL, XLT or Lariat, nor Hybrid or Ecoboost, it must be an issue that is common across each of those attributes.

Perhaps, parts shortage, bad parts, incorrect assembly, etc.

The fact that Ford has been unwilling (so far) to divulge the nature of the issue(s), I'm wondering whether this could result in "diminished value" for the Mavericks we've ordered if it can't be properly resolved.

You’ve hit on my worry. This delay is concerning as there appears to be a group of trucks that are being treated differently for some reason. I know that the logistics of shipping may be the root cause, but some of the answers folks have gotten don’t add up.

Count me in too. Probably the majority of trucks produced are fine. But I am worried that something was missing or wrong with this group that they had to set them aside and who knows what is going on. If you have ever been part of manufacturing, you know that things done out of order have a greater probability of being done wrong or having things missed or just not done as well. Think about it this way -- if they ran short on doors, or a wire harness, or whatever. Instead of having that door installed by a robot, now it has to be done by hand. Instead of laying the wire harness in the channel and then building on top of it, now it has to be snaked in around things installed afterwards. Etc. Etc. Just because it will have a warranty doesn't mean all is well. So yes, I am worried.

In production 11/28. Tracker hasn't moved ever since. 2024 Cactus Gray XLT, Moonroof, Lux Package, Drop In Bedliner, Hitch, Copilot 360. Ford Customer service knows nothing. The Dealership knows nothing (they both give me the same "in production" spiel). No visibility into the real reason why the truck is still sitting in the body shop. I can see why people are so frustrated with ordering these vehicles. Original Delivery Date to the dealer 12/14 - 12/20. That's come and gone. Dealer (Galpin Ford, Los Angeles) says probably mid January 2024 delivery. We shall see. Very frustrating waiting game. I refuse to pay 7500-10000 over MSRP for a Hybrid on the dealer lot. I was originally expecting a year or so wait for the vehicle (ordered July 17 when the banks opened up) and was excited when I got the scheduled email. I also received the email from Ford regarding "almost built, supply chain, yata yata). The excitement is gone, replaced by frustration. It's a giant black hole trying to get detailed information on why it's been sitting there for 3 weeks. No one seems to know....

And all of the modules have been programmed and populated. https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt Window Sticker link on the Ford tracker has never worked. I was able to pull it from http://fordwindowsticker.com. Just bizarre.

Most of us have our hearts set on a Maverick, else we would not have ordered one. But I must admit that this unexplained delay has given me some time to examine the 2024 Ridgeline. Nowhere near jumping ship just yet, but just saying…

You are right JBEN110. How can Ford chat tell you your truck will finally finish being built exactly some 19 days from now, when most trucks are started and completed in just a couple days. That also doesn't take into account that your build STARTED more than a month ago already!

My call to Ford Customer service today, I heard nothing new, but at least I got the person to agree that since my vehicle is still sitting in Mexico since 11/16, it WON'T be delivered to my dealership in Wisconsin between 1 and 8 days from now. Just prior to that admission, the person told me she still sees my expected delivery to be between 12/22 and 12/28. Crazy.
well i talked to my dealer last night and he gave me some news. this is what he said, keep in mind that he is new at this and only just started selling cars in may so I'm allowing him a little breathing room to be nice. does this sound legit to you guys? to me it seems un necessary to hold a vehicle for over a month for a quality and field check:

Also i probably said this more than enough but keep in mind that my vehicle started production November 29

"Talked with both my sales managers today. From what my manager was told, your tremor is being held for a "quality assurance hold" and a "field specialist" has been assigned to it. These are new terms to me. ETA in my managers system it says Jan 9, however just being honest from Mexico to here on a railcar may be doable. But seems unrealistic. Especially if there is no progress saying "shipped""

I wish I had better news just being real with you.

Hopefully this is not a batch of lemons. Makes no sense that some vehicles that went into production first week of December have been built and shipped already. I'm getting very leery of the ambiguity from Ford. I want an answer.

That’s where I’m at. Really would like to know what black hole our 11/13 builds fell into.

The current program for the turn signal update is for vehicles built through 11/16 - my guess is this 23C41 is what is holding up all your guys' trucks at the plant...
I just checked and the problems they had have been RESOLVED with the program, so the updates can be done!! GREAT NEWS!!
