Why do you ask? Delayed is possible.

But canceled is very unlikely. The only time I've ever heard of that happening was hybrids scheduled for the last production month of 22. A few, I don't know how many or who besides Ford would know, were balanced out despite having a VIN.

Yes. I am one of the few “lucky” who had a late ‘22 production date (over a year after I ordered), VIN and all, and my order was cancelled. I was never notified it was balanced out and the order cancelled until a month or two after the build date passed and I started asking questions to my dealer and Ford USA. There were so many pushbacks, delays, parts shortages, etc. along the way that I figured it was just another hiccup. All that to say, I ordered in Oct. ‘21, and after lots of headaches, confusion, many phone calls and testing my patience to the max, I received a Maverick earlier this month.

I believe a lot of the problems I encountered have been sorted, and I am one of a very small number to experience this. Hopefully others don’t have to jump through the hoops I did to get a vehicle.
