About a week ago, I requested access to my being-built 2024 Maverick. A few days ago, I noticed that the picture in the FordPass App matched the Carbonized Gray BAP. But today, as I was doing something on the computer, my phone beeped and told me "You have successfully been authorized to remotely control and view the location of "2024 Maverick", the name I had given it when I added the VIN to my Fordpass.

Someone has put 37 miles on it! But seriously, I wonder if the battery will last long enough for me to track it this way, instead of bugging the dealer for a VinView screenshot.

A bored driver driving the same type of vehicle around a the same prescibed test route, through the same modes - day after day - not 'joyriding'🥺. Been there!
This was the sticker on my Mav when it was delivered.

Even getting the overfilled tire pressures, along with the correct Carbonized Gray/BAP combo:

My tires were all overfilled as well - not quite that much, but around 40 psi.

they are all filled that high for shipping. they're supposed to be lowered to the correct pressure during predelivery inspection, but I had 2 Mavericks and 2 Broncos delivered all with 40-42 psi in each tire.

Found no test drive sticker on mine at delivery but had 48 miles. Did not query dealer, but suspected they tried it out. Of course they could have removed any sticker during prep also.

My MY22 had 40 miles on it when I picked it up at the dealership, it had just arrived that morning.

My 2023 had 40 miles on it, and it had just arrived when I picked it up. Looks like I'm 2 for 2 for extra testing. I was kidding regarding the thread title. I'm not opposed to them checking it over closer and doing a little testing before bringing it up. Over 9 months so far and no trip needed back to the dealer for the 2023. Hope the wife's 2024 has the same experience!

Ford Tracker still shows a 12/1/23 update of just "In Production" and I'm happy to see that it IS clearly driveable. But clearly, the location indicates it won't be here for Christmas!

I'm having deep sleep issues with mine. Took it in earlier this week and they kept it overnight and then today their computer update system crashed, so did not get all the updates they said I needed. They also said I need to drive it more, which I don't think I should have too.
It'll be 14 months on Christmas day since I drove it off the lot and only have 3600 miles on it, averaging 257 miles a month (I'm retired). The only thing that bothers me is when opening the doors at night, no interior lights come on, due to the deep sleep mode. I can get by without the remote stuff, key fob works fine.

I only have 2,666 miles on mine as of today, about 9.5 months into it. I have towed it another 2,622 miles. There is no consistent pattern for me. It has sat for a week without going into Deep Sleep, and at other times, I have returned from a 30 mile trip and will get a deep sleep notice 15 minutes after shutting it off. I just put a jump charger box in the truck, but have never had to use it. The "Deep Sleep" message is just annoying to me, and it lives in my garage so I never try to use the app (or the fob) to remote start it.

Now someone is siphoning out the gas!!! Odometer still reads 37 mi today, but the Distance to Empty has dropped from 85 to 70 mi. No, I'm kidding...but it is funny to see the drop. Maybe they are running the ICE a bit in Park.

My 23 was over 45 psi when delivered. I didn't complain, I just wantd to get the keys and get it home before th snow started sticking. I don't know if the dealer would have spent time lowering it...I suspect not.

Our dealer drove it a few miles to fill the tank, but did not lower the 45psi tires.

I'm looking forward to seeing your posts here as it travels across the US on the train. Should be interesting.

Truck still reports being in Mexico, but the Distance to Empty has dropped again. Started at 85, then dropped to 70, and today dropped to 67. All while the Odometer has remained at 37 miles. Hopefully, they are doing all the computer updates with the ICE running and keeping the 12 volt battery well-charged up for the long railroad trip. That's the only thing I could think of that is happening, that would keep the odometer the same and the DTE dropping.

Watching it is making this last month of waiting easier. ETA is still 1/3 to 1/9, but the tracker still hasn't been updated since 12/1.

Distance to empty isn't very accurate until there's more miles on the truck and the computer learns more history of driving habits etc. I wouldn't worry about that number fluctuating.
