Why do some Wildpeak AT3s look less aggressive?

I’ve noticed that some trucks, even stock bronco sports with Wildpeak AT3w look a lot less aggressive than other people on here. I’m assuming it goes by size, but I’m thinking about getting Wildpeak AT3s for my maverick and I like some pictures I see of them and then others I think they look lame. Maybe some of you can shed some light on what sizes change the look.

I installed Wildpeak at3w in 235/65r17 and was disappointed in how they look (compared with the general grabbers on my Bronco)but they handle slippery surfaces way better then the Pirelli skidmarks that came on the fx4

IIRC sometimes the tire size changes the tread pattern somewhat.

I feel like going up to a 245/65/17 changes the aggressiveness of the tread in the Wildpeak AT3s. If someone looks at the pictures of the 235 vs 245s I believe you’ll see the difference. The 235s look like Wildpeak trails almost.

Yeah I’m familiar with the difference in the actual tires from falken. Maybe I should have specified. I’m saying that I believe the Wildpeak AT3s at some point in size get more aggressive looking. I thought maybe someone has a real world experience with this.

So I was able to find images on google of a 235/65/17 vs 245/65/17 both are Wildpeak AT3w. As you can see the 245s are much more aggressive looking. Is this just my eyes fooling with me? lol

The 235's are the same pattern both sides

Almost looks like there is a line cut through all the shoulder lugs on the 235. Additional siping or something?

That is common. Even though the tire's name is the same, there is a difference between OEM and retail versions.

I ordered my tires from Falken after delivery,didn't like the optional wheels or would of factory ordered.

Could be. Ford does modify on occasion, Gen 1 Raptor K02s had a different rubber compound but the same tread.

I believe you can still order OEM spec tires from manufacturer and retailers like discount tire etc. They are for sale publicly.
