So, I decided to just own it that it’s a TREMOR. Left it all before having the Resitall paint protection applied. I’ll discuss it again when I take to a local shop to tint the windows
Like some have commented, the Tremor orange looks great with your blue paint color. I actually like the side bed graphics, but if it only came from the factory with the tailgate decal, I wouldn’t have gotten and installed Tremor side bed decals from the Ranger or F150. On that same note I would not have applied any lower door and hood graphics either, had my lot-purchased Tremor not come with them.

To put it another way, I grew up a fan of the 60’s & 70’s muscle cars. Some of those came from the factory with loud and big decals, hood scoops and spoilers that may have seemed a bit much back then. But today those same features help to make those cars the most valuable. So while it’s not exactly a ‘69 Z/28 Camaro or a ‘70 SS 454 Chevelle with cowl induction hood, personally this is kind of how I view my “limited production” Tremor, and why I plan to keep it exactly how it came from the factory - decals and all (including the rear shock TREMOR decals!).

And I’ve seen easily a dozen Mavericks or more on the road so far, and none of those were Tremors, so while I don’t have actual production #’s, I view these as limited production.

Thanks @OneHappyTremor, you get the point I was trying to make. I would never try and pose by adding Tremor graphics. If anything I like to de-badge and make it more subtle and not so in your face. I’m keeping them. Like you said, part of the appeal of a ‘77 Trans-Am is the screaming chicken on the hood. It’s so over the top loud and bad that it’s good.

I totally agree but at the same time the Tremor DOES have a stand-out look that is pretty bold and reminds me of many of my Hot Wheels, I wonder what color scheme could be used to make a Tremor stylized for a "distinguished gentleman". Does Hot Wheels make any of these yet?

Just an update to my previous post on this thread. The OP and me went in opposite directions. Removed the hood and door graphics today. Much happier with the look overall. Left the bed alone though. Just gotta swap the tailgate tremor sticker for a tremor badge. Also removed the Ford OEM mudflaps and installed rokblokz mudflaps. Getting there!

Sorry somehow missed this. I really like it a lot more. It's nice not feeling like a kid who bought a bicycle with flame stickers all over to make it look faster. Sorry she's a bit dirty and it's not the best lighting. No the oil spots under the truck aren't mine haha

Also looks good. No bad looking Tremor out there.

I like the hood and side decals from tremor package. I saw them in person on a hot pepper red tremor at the dealership and they look really great against that color. However I ordered an FX4 as 4K towing package was important to me. Is it possible to order the tremor hood and side decals from ford? The tremor hood and side decals are nicely done and more subtle than anything else I can find online.

I’m sure the hood and side graphics are a part number you can order from your Ford Dealer Parts Department.

I think I will keep the hood graphics Not sure about the side body ones? Thinking of removing or finishing the angled strips(as they only go part way) looks unfinished to me

How hard was it to remove the stripe package? Just a heat gun? (And for how long?) Did it leave a lot of residue behind you had to clean up afterwards?

Can't give you the exact details as I had my mechanic do it since I live in an apartment. A heat gun was used on a low setting. Cleaned and waxed it even though there was hardly any residue left behind. Best to protect the paint.

Haven't regretted doing it at all and I do plan to do the ones on the side of the bed too. Gonna swap for black Tremor stickers. Not a fan of the orange/copper against my blue paint.

I'm not telling you how or to do it. Wouldn't want you damging your paint because my words. Just very happy with the end result.

Personally, I'd leave it. That's what differentiates it from any other Maverick. Plus, the blue and orange mesh well together. You do what you want since it's your truck but if it were me, I'd leave it. I have an FX4 in HPR on order which also has the decal on the rear quarter panels and I'm leaving them. It'll set it apart just slightly from other Mavericks. As long as it doesn't discolor or peel over time, I'm gonna leave it.
Also, when you go to sell it, the buyers will likely prefer the graphics. If they are seeking a Tremor they want the look.

I removed my FX4 stickers immediately on getting home because I didn't like them, but the tremor package is a much bigger upgrade than FX4.
