I just wanted to say thank you to this little truck. I think we can all agree the maverick has made our lives better in one form or another, but I can honestly say this is the first car I've ever been in that gave me a sense of closure.
Thanks to it's dependability and efficiency, I was able to visit my grandma in her retirement home every week. When she was scared, nervous, and felt alone, the maverick made it easy to visit her, and take her on scenic drives, or to our home. When I got the call that she was on her death bed, the maverick made it so I could spend some final moments with her, and when she passed away, the trust I had in the maverick made it possible to drive a considerable distance without worry to attend her funeral to say my final goodbyes.
This truck gave me something priceless, more time and opportunities to bond with someone I cared deeply about. Without it, if we'd still be driving our troublesome Kia Rio, I wouldn't have been able to spend as much time with my grandma before she passed, and I almost certainly wouldn't have attended her funeral due to lack of trust in that vehicle.
Thank you maverick, you weren't always perfect, your brakes may have been touchy at times, your plastics hard, and there may come a day where you fail me entirely. But you were reliable when I needed something to rely on the most.
