I’m rooting for you to get a quick build/delivery as my order is two weeks after yours.

When you ordered from you dealer did Ford send you a email saying your order has been placed? Did you get a price Dora from your dealer ? If so just wait it out.

Hi yes this is what i was sent from Ford my Dealer said should be shipped at the end of February since this is a loaded Lariat. I was just expecting something from Ford within the stated time frame....seems like wishful thinking Lol

John, we’ve got your order.
Order ID: C07L
Thank you for your early order.
Since we’re building this 2024 Maverick Lariat just for you, we’ll be keeping in touch – providing updates when your vehicle has a scheduled build date, when it’s built, and when it will be shipped to Winner Ford.

It's all about allocations now. Since you ae ordering a Lariat, you can probably expect it in the late spring, as long as your dealer has enough allocations to get it chosen to be built. I ordered 7/17 and it just went into production today, according to Ford.

Late spring?! Ha, I’d be cancelling my order and heading to the competition if that were the case. The people on here who waited a year or more on 2022s and 2023s have a level of patience I simply don’t have. My dealer told me it won’t be the way with 24s, to expect an update within a month and a likely build in December. I only ordered Oct 24th so just nearing a month. If I haven’t heard anything within the month as he stated I start looking at other vehicles. At the 45 day mark I buy something else so there could be an extra Lariat Tremor on the way for any of you guys in Canada who have been waiting forever.
Really want a Mav but if I can’t wait forever. And if I feel the dealer misled me I have to walk away

Sorry to thread hijack, but I got the DORA with the price, priority code/etc., filled in my info, sent it back, and about 30mins later I got the order placed email with an order ID. Should I be good to go then other than the waiting game now?

Ford is already scheduling into January. When the build-week arrives, figure 30 to 60 days to get it to your door (in the US...maybe longer if you are in Canada). If you haven't received a build week yet, well..... My first Maverick took 491 days. I m realistically expecting my second to take 150-180 days from my date of order.

My order was placed right away back in Dec 2021 and ended up with a 23 model. A reliable efficient dealer gets the order put in quickly some drag their feet. You will have to wait now for your updated emails usually every 45 days .I waited a long time then when the Tremor option came out I changed it to that and within a week I received my vehicle is being built e mail. I would think that if you ordered a Hybrid you will have a longer wait but not as long as when Ford first started building these vehicles. What did you order?

It may end up that you’re right but that’s not what I was told and I cannot wait that long.
But keep in mind that you ordered in July and your truck is being built in November. It would be a mistake to assume your ‘wait time’ is standard and that someone who ordered in October would expect the same delay. They just started production so that time you waited from July through October is somewhat irrelevant other than you being higher in the queue. You’re really getting your truck built less than a month after production started so your delay isn’t that bad.
Based on what I’ve read in the weekly updates of current orders no one should be waiting until late spring. With the 24’s starting to land there will be a lot more 23’s coming back and diluting the resale market reducing demand. On top of that there is going to be an influx of cancelled orders across the board due the insane interest rates. The last few years of inventory chaos for Mavericks is going to come to end very soon.

Dude you are going to be cancelling your order for everyone then. Also, the competition? What competition? A Hyundai? Good luck.

Sorry to break the news to you, but this "inventory chaos" you are referring to is not coming to an end any time soon. Pretty sure they are actually enjoying producing less and making more profit by doing so.
