It’s a hard to get into club where we 700 club members, all get together and and bask and swim in our fuel savings like Scrooge McDuck lol.

Pumped just smidge over 14 gallons on 731+ miles of driving! Still had 40 miles DTE!
Love this truck!

What's your average traveling speed?
not sure my neighborhood is 25 mph basically everywhere so I’m forced to drive slow anyways which is perfect for MPG!

Typical neighborhood speed limit, so nothing usual there. Ours is the same, but most roads are 40+. Are most of your trips as short as the one in the picture? I'm suprised the ICE gets up to temperture soon enough for the engine to shut off and go full electric. At this time of year I either get to the end of the street (not far), and some days not even out of the driveway before the ICE runs for a good 3-6 minutes. Knocks me from 45MPG to 42MPG on most trips, but I'm usually on the road for 25-30 minutes per trip.

My ICE seems to run only about 2/3 minutes only even with it being cold. Turns off not far down the street. Using eco mode when she’s cold.

I never bother switching modes, didn't notice any meaningful difference. Due to high humidity I have to use the heater to defrost and keep the windows from fogging up, so no way around having the ICE on for a while.

Do any of you live where there are hills :D
I average out usually at 37-39 depending on which office location I work at.
I get 78mpg+ on the way to one office, but pay the price on the way back.
I usually fill once a month and still have a couple bars left.

That is pretty impressive MPG. We've owned two 2015 Honda Accord Hybrids. I think the best we ever got out of them with mixed highway and city driving was 65mpg.

You want the ICE to run occasionally just so it keeps oil, coolant etc running through the system and keeps gas from going stale. Our 2023 Outlander PHEV forces an engine run and draining of the fuel tank about every 4-6 weeks to about 1/4 of the tank, before requesting that you fill it up. My wife only has a 14 mile commute every day so we could potentially run the car on nothing but electric. Has about a 42-45 mile EV range. Toyota missed that with the RAV 4 prime and many people had serious engine failures when they finally decided to run the engine. We also use fuel with no ethanol.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the input especially on keeping the gas too long in the truck. Maybe wise to put that Stabil fuel saver stuff in the gas I’m almost thinking.
Wonder if someone on here could chime in on that matter!

Not bad. Looks like your average speed was just over 20 mph. Really no place I could do that here without creating serious road rage against me. I am averaging 500 miles per tank though, so I’m pretty much happy with that.

I believe the timer still runs when the vehicle is stopped at red lights?
We have so many lights around here a short drive basically down the street can easily turn into a 20 minute drive which adds up with the timer fast.
