Maverick for retail sales appearing before ordered trucks?

I thought the Maverick trucks that are being built now were only for people who ordered them not stock or dealers retail. I came across this last night and was surprised. If I read this correctly a dealer in Houston, Texas has 13 already for retail sale on the lot. Can someone explain how this can true?

Dealer stock units are EcoBoost for now.
Hybrids are reserved for sold/reserved retail orders.

Yes - the first units produced at the plant in August and early September were dealer stock units - built during production introduction/ramp-up so that any kinks in the process can be ironed out. They do this with dealer stock because you need to be at top quality for customer ordered units! I have no issues with being built the first week of retail order production, but if I were one of the first off the line in August I'd be going over the truck with a fine-tooth comb. Additionally, those units I believe are at least supposed to partially serve as demos for a period of time on dealer lots before they can be sold (though it doesn't seem this has been the case from what I can tell many have been able to purchase these).

I suspect once this inventory dries up there will not be many if any stock units being produced. This wasn't new or unanticipated.

@Limey, i live in houston and had never heard of Group1. i googled the location and i promise there is no dealership in the area of their address.

If you click on the links, they show the cars are not in Houston, but in Austin, Florida, etc.

I can assure you, the trucks aren’t on lots in Houston. Just a facade for trucks coming. I’ve called around and everything they are showing is actually reservations coming in.
