I too would be interested in ordering. Please let us know how to order, and how much for both options... Vented and un-vented?

Duct tape also works. costs pennies to use . I use black on my black tailgate.
It,s hidden anyway ,so color is not a factor .

@P99Guy is currently testing. We don't want to send out subpar products. As soon as they are available, I will post. Thank you for everyone's support.

RC is correct. I Do it right or I Dont do it.

i will be printing multiple options today and will probably send out a few more testing samples to random forum members to be my test subjects….

even though I don’t post much, I am on the forum daily and listening to everyones thoughts.

i Don’t know how much they sell for on Etsy if they are already available but they will be made available for minimal cost somewhere.

I would share the file for it now but;
1. I dont want someone with a 3D printer setting up shop and charging high prices to those that don’t have a 3D printer.
2. I didn’t design it. I just have a Maverick and a lot of 3D printers So I am happy to have the excellent design file RC has created.

thanks,
P99Guy

How does one get their name entered into the random drawing?

I'd be interested in this too. Although I can say every piece of exterior plastic im buying is also going to get painted when I finally do that.

I didn't know I needed this, or that there was a hole there.

But if you have the B&O system, you also have a hole under the 6x9. Whatever lead to the decision to make the floor board a "bandpass" solution truly amazes me.

Actually, saying that makes the tailgate hole seem like less of a drain solution for excess moisture and more of a "we can't be bothered to cover this hole up" solution for the tailgate...
I'm replying to this mostly OT comment because I want to know about these tailgate covers, but I can also answer your question/observation about the B&O 6x9.

it's an infinite baffle. speakers generate waves in both directions and as long as the rear wave is baffled from the front, you get sound. the advantage of an infinite baffle is lower resonance and better SPL from very low power. usually this is a trunk - Toyota / Lexus did this for many years with a sub in the rear decklid of a sedan - but in the Maverick's case, it truly is infinite because it's vented to the open air under the truck, LOL.

Drain holes are the same as on on normal door. Every 6–8inches on outside layer. These a service holes. Unfortunately, lots of large debris like stone, dirt and leafs are getting there.
These are awesome. Any idea how much they'll cost when and if they're available for sale? File this under "I didn't know I needed that."

First 2 pictures of the drain holes. Also each corner of the inner tailgate corner corner go is not welded to insure moisture escapes.
