I am moving/taking a road trip from Florida to the PNW. I plan on spending about a month primitive camping and hopping from one national park to another. I have this fully loaded right at 5100 lbs. Last weigh in showed 2280 lbs on front and 2820 rear. I moved some weight from the back to the front and haven't gotten it reweighed yet but I presume it will be enough. Here are some lists of modifications and add ons to make this trip easier.

-Nitto Nomad Grappler tires slightly upsized, 235/55R18 I believe
-AirLift 1000 rear bags inflated to about 34 PSI
-Elevate T-slot rails with DIY brackets to bolt on an extruded aluminum bed rack
-Truxedo Sentry CT cover
-Odyssey ODP-AGM48-H6 battery to replace original SLA battery
-400 Watts of solar on bed rack with 40 amp Renogy Solar controller, provides almost all my energy needs
-60 amp DC/DC converter hooked up to trucks battery and a switch to turn it off and on when necessary
-200 AH LiFeP04 battery
-40 Quart 12V Fridge
-10 Gallons of water in two 5 gallon containers in rear passenger foot well
-WeBoost cellphone booster
(i think thats it)

Personal notes: its heavy. You can feel it but with the airlift bags, its mostly balanced and level. I get mid 30's for fuel economy in city but haven't driven it enough to really be sure. I stay on normal mode for the most part. I wanted to keep as much fuel economy as possible so I tried to keep it all contained within the boundaries of the truck except the hitch rack. I didn't want a trailer for fuel economy and easier parking reasons. I'll probably post a road trip thread in that section once I get going but figured I would list all the modifications out here. Thanks for reading

Just in time for rain and snow.
Unfortunately I can't control when my lease is up so now is when I leave. Not my first time in the snow, born in Alaska and grew up in Iowa. Nothing new to me. I am actually excited for snow since its been almost 5 years since I've seen it

Hey bro, have a wonderful and safe trip. I guarantee if you keep it under 75 you’ll be kissing 40 MPG.
I think I’ll take advantage of that adaptive cruise control and lock in at 70. I value fuel economy more than arrival time. I have plenty of time

Have fun. Divert across Texas and see some dirt, feel some wind and dust. It will make you enjoy mountains more LOL
Thank you. I plan on hitting Austin then going north to Oklahoma then west to Denver to mostly skip west Texas. I hear it’s a real drag driving through there

Maybe not as it's uphill most of the way!
They hybrid is only rated at mid to low 30’s for highway. I doubt I’ll be getting higher than that at almost full capacity with a bed rack

My adaptive cruise sweet spot is 66-68.
