Sweet deal. Just get me scheduled when you can Ford. Appreciate the hard work you're doing and sorry for the ones you have to deal with.
I just tell it like it is. My order has been delayed time and time again. No, I am not happy and I don't think Ford is doing a good job!

i do have a order number e-mail from Ford but no VIN so far. i already have a '23 Hybrid purchased off the lot that doesnt have everything i would of ordered. but if its gonna be another yr or so and thousands of $$ more i may just keep the one i already have.
With less than 50k in the order bank unscheduled and appears Ford scheduling around 10k each month, it should only take months (barring the strike's impact) to process these orders. I believe the biggest issue is each dealership's allocations.

It took 18 months before I received a VIN on my 23MY order. Placed a new 24MY order at another dealership (Granger) and my order has already been assigned a VIN this month.

Ordered 22, rolled into 23 and 24. Dealer says no problem with allocations.
This is ridiculous. If there was another brand with the same type of vehicle I would never both with Ford.

I felt your pain about six months ago when I approached 18 months with no VIN and I had ordered an XLT. But IMHO the issue is the allocations each dealership has been allotted. Has your dealership provided you that number and where your at in their backlog?

I had the distinction of being the very last rollover 22->23 Maverick order at our smaller dealership to be assigned a VIN. I sat down with the sales manager and he showed me their orders backlog list and where my order fell. I watched other orders younger orders get picked up and they could not always explain why other than Ford had already scheduled what I ordered and there were no more slots open. But my dealership had a lower allotment count and it took longer to process the backlog of orders.

After 18 months, I finally was "awarded" a VIN. I think the openness of the dealership to share information and confirm what I learned here on the forum helped me wait it out.

If I was in your spot, I would feel exactly the same.

And why I think Ford has taken a more active role this time to shepherd rollover orders through their system instead of relying on the dealership.

Is your 24MY order at least a Pri 2?

I'm told by the dealership staff that the highest priority code is 10, which is the priority code of my order.
I just got off the phone with the sales fellow.
He said he's going to ask if there's better priority code.

Hey Old Farmer,
Call the Ford Customer Service 800-334-4375 you will have to have your order code and sales code (both from your DORA) to get info on your current order. If you have been rolled over twice, you should be at priority 2. Call to verify this information. I don't think your dealership is being completely honest with you. Best of Luck!

Sounds like your dealership is not keeping up to date - dealers can now set as low as 03, with Ford rolling a properly processed rollover order to 02 (and can also be set by the regoinal rep back to 02 should any changes be made).

I know our 23 rollover was input by the dealer as a priority 10. Our new 24 order was a priority 19. Both were reset by Ford to a priority 2 when our Lariat Hybrid builds were scheduled in October.

There is no "line". Who gave you that info, the dealer or Ford?
Scheduling is determined based on a number of factors such as parts availability and dealer allocation.

Also, welcome to the forums!
It came from local dealer, they said that they would send out my order and that there was no down-payment for the truck, cause they are tired of doing refund checks.

What is the rank of 10 meaning, just wondering.

And thanks for the opportunity to join, I have been mostly reading what others say in here, trying to get an idea on what I need to ask and find information.

This thread will help explain the allocations dealerships get:
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...lanation-of-maverick-order-allocations.36302/

And specifically I have a post in there regarding the priorty numbers that your dealership assigns you with your order and what it means (not much unfortunately):
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...ck-order-allocations.36302/page-4#post-655592

Welcome to the forum! It's a lot of new terms to digest up front, but once you know them, you'll understand a bit more why no one can really promise a built date until Ford gives you one (whenever that is).

Edit: You can find your priority code on the DORA sheet / order preview sheet your dealer should have provided you. I have no idea what 904 means - might just be their internal code but there's definitely not a national ranking number or line.
