You need a garage, my friend. Or a carport. I had my last truck 24 years, in part due to storing it out of the weather. Garages can be expensive, but carports can be had for less than $1500. Your Mav will thank you 😬
Costs a lot more when you rent 😆

Almost one year, and one big problem -- that gap.

Picked up a cover on the web, fits well. Size: 90"x60"

I'm in the first home I've ever had that came with a carport, love, love, love having it. No worries over leaves or sun or the very rare snow event. Even windshield frost is a thing of the past now. Only thing that gets through is pollen.

My neighbor has had a carport for years and it's doing just fine. We've had snowstorms drop multiple feet of snow and it didn't collapse. Clearly, some are built better than others. You need a structure that's appropriate for where you live. 😬

Well how about at $3800 carport at Maui lumber prices(if you dont know, you dont wanna know).

There is a Java Plum tree behind the camera. It drops berries that are basically acid glue. Not too good for the finish.

Its trying to be one again. Desperately needing my attention. I need to clean out the shop, so I can finally paint the outside. I put a newer motor in it and painted the interior but I need to get the outside done so I can take the seats and dash out of a much more rusted Eagle I got. I got a lift kit, a T5 manual swap, and 28" super swampers for it aswell. One day it will get the same love as the Maverick. They are fun cars. Very comfy ride. They soak up rough roads.

If you don't have a garage available, a leaf blower helps a lot.
Same here, no garage, but have a cordless leaf blower. The blower is also good for powdery snow to clean the vehicles, deck, walkway and even the driveway. It helps to have two sets of batteries for the blower...

It's not a good idea to use a leaf blower. It will force the smaller leaves into the intakes. In time this debris will cause problems with your AC.

The mechanics on YouTube advise using a vacuum.

Don't miss that crap... or the sap. Even after you think you clear it, hit the wipers and there is one little fiber stuck in the blade leaving streaks.

No garage here yet, but I'm looking to build one giant one with a wood burning stove to replace my current car port. Somewhere to build my killdozer the way these property taxes are going...

I think I've seen maybe two powdery snows in the 18+ yrs I've lived in this part of the Ozarks. We usually only get around 10" of snow over the entire winter, and it's nearly always wet snow or ice. If it's the latter, I go nowhere. I've seen way too many "invincible" idiots with 4WD/AWD vehicles off in the ditches!

The blower works well if the trees have large leaves. The garage works much better, though...

Once a week I blow it out if not more often. I generally will pull the larger crap out with my hands first
