Agreed. Gonna get her cleaned when I come back from camping. Also ordered myself a set of Musology mudflaps.

I have the same tires in 245/70. They have 40k on them now and they're still going strong. Be sure to rotate and balance, they don't like to stay in the same position for eternity.
Not to hijack the original post, but how have these tires performed in heavy rain and standing water?
Wet performance seems to be an area that many reviews have criticized these tires, and I have had them on my list for consideration to replace the OE Contis since I bought my Maverick a couple months ago.
I see they have reviewed them well in snow and for low noise, but handling and rain are areas that I consider too, because during fall and winter if we're not getting snow, there's a likelihood there's rain and water an inch or so deep on the roadways. They are also a bit heavier than the primary choice of tires I'm considering, so have you seen any decline in fuel mileage since installing them?

The wheel/tire combo looks great. The wheels are clean and simple and those white letters are going to pop when the blue is cleaned off. Nice choices.

I love how low that ford/Rev hard roll-up brand sits on the bed. I haven't seen any other brand sit that low or flush.

So, overall they've been great. Water, snow, a little mud, sand.... I'm very happy. Now, as the miles add up they get a little louder still perform well but I do start to notice a little hydroplaning in the same conditions that there wasn't any for the last 35k miles. Hope that answered your questions

White letter tires were a pretty huge deal back in the late 70s / early 80s, then seemed to mostly disappear although lately they seem to making a comeback.
I think they only look good on trucks.

Yes, thank you! Too many times reading reviews you get overdramatic responses, yours sounds reasonable and accurate to your experience.

Added a hidden wireless charger today. I was inspired by this thread and used an under desk-mounted pad and a USB adapter wired to the fuse box, giving me two ports so I could also hide my dashcam's USB cable.

The charger works surprisingly well with my case but I do wish I had gone with a 15 watt model. Still, all in all, total cost (including customs/import fees) was under 100$ CAD; a fraction of what Ford was asking.

Next up on my list is hiding my wireless Android Auto adapter's wire by using the USB header behind the connector, and mounting my Kicker HS-10 to it's final resting place, the back wall.

I also stubbed my pinky toe this morning and it looks like I might have fractured it, so that's fun.

Properly installed my HS-10's volume/gain knob next to the 12v outlet. It came out great and it's way more convenient this way. I can fiddle with it depending on the type of music I'm listening to.

Ford Maverick Kofad's Family Truck 01

Plenty of room in there.

Ford Maverick Kofad's Family Truck 02

Dissasembled the knob. It's just held by that one nut, which I'll re-use to mount.

Ford Maverick Kofad's Family Truck 03

Drilled a hole. It was a tad too small so I had to fiddle a bit but I ended up threading the hole with the shaft of the knob for a tight fit. Giggity.

Ford Maverick Kofad's Family Truck 04

Installed in place. I connected the wire, put the cap back on, snapped the unit back into place and tucked in some wiring.

Ford Maverick Kofad's Family Truck 05

Photo's a bit blurry but it came out clean. Don't mind the loose wiring; that was cleaned up right after.

Installed Musology mud guards this afternoon. Total cost was around 115$ CAD. Shipping took over a month (yeesh) but they seem to be of decent quality. The kit includes a forked rivet remover, a completely useless Ikea-style Phillips screwdriver, and some stick on protective film so the guards don't scratch up the paint.

They're really deep black compared to the Maverick's dark gray trim but they'll probably blend in more when they pick up a bit of dirt.

Ford Maverick Kofad's Family Truck 03

Installation was an absolute breeze: Apply the protective film, remove the factory plastic rivets, then install the guards using either the provided rivets or re-use the factory ones. Total time was probably under 20 minutes.

There are two metal bolts to remove in the back but they're tiny and just screwed into plastic so you could probably undo them with your fingers if you wanted to. I just used a socket head to unscrew them.

I like 'em; they fit well with the larger wheels and aren't too visible, like rubber flaps are.

What charger did you end up getting? I ordered the one linked in the video, but they sent me a different, USB-C-only model that does not seem to like the voltage coming from the truck (which according to my outlet which has a voltmeter built-in, is hovering between 13v and 14.8v). The charger works when I put it in the wall, and my phone charges off the outlet when I plug it in, but the outlet and the charger don't work together. These are the parts I have:

Yep, that's the one, except my model has a USB Mini or Micro-B port rather than USB-C. I've checked my purchase history and it looks like it's no longer available.

It's been working reliably but I do have the occasional moment when it seemingly won't power up. Is that the issue you're seeing? I'm wondering if an inline power regulator would help but I'm not really willing to throw more money at this until it becomes problematic.

I’ve probably had 6 different model bed covers over the years, this is by far my favorite. I bought one for my F350 too!
