I thought about going with black or orange but decided to try something different.. I got some Carbonized Gray letters from Tufskinz.com. They match the grille bar and rims on my Cactus Gray XLT and I really like the look. I haven’t seen another one like it which is cool too.

I actually like the contrast between the Carbonized Gray lettering and the Cactus Gray body color.

Sharp man!
Ease of application? Tips?
Thanks, they’re actually pretty easy to install. First make sure the tailgate is cool or at least in the shade for a while. Clean the area with alcohol before installing each letter, do a dry fit before installing to get an idea of how they fit so you can get it as straight as possible and finally peel most of the paper off the back but leave a corner of it on to give you something to old on to so you’re not touching the adhesive. Hold it up to the tailgate with that and use the other to press it down and you pull the paper off as you get to that corner. It doesn’t grab immediately if you just lightly press down and work from one side to the other. When you like it press down firmly around the whole thing.

Nice look. I went with the Matte Black since I have the Oxford White with black trim.

Looks great! Still waiting for my HPR truck to be built. I got black with red outlined letters. Then I sent for Red. Have to wait to see which looks better. Now I think maybe CG would look good too. Decisions Decisions. I may have two sets up for sell. By time I get my truck hopefully October it will be to late to send them back.

I've been up in the air on what color to use on my oxford white xlt. Now that I've seen this, it's my new front runner. It'll break up the white & black & match the rims.

That was my thinking. I think it will look great on the white too.

Had thought about doing those on my alto blue but went with the matte black because I could use my ford points to buy them. Now I’m having second thoughts on my decision…

Update: Thanks for all the complements, here’s a link to those interested. They’re a little pricey and it took a little over a week to get them but I believe it’s worth it for something different. https://www.tufskinz.com/products/mav001-tailgate-ford-maverick
