Like the title says, I had blast hanging out on this forum for the last year or so learning all things Maverick. I truly do believe it’s a great little truck. But after waiting about a year I can’t wait any longer. My current daily driver just crapped the bed and I needed a new vehicle ASAP. Would have loved a Maverick but after searching I couldn’t find one in my budget/options I wanted.

That’s when I found my new truck

Ford Maverick Thanks for all the fun guys, but I’m done image000000

It’s a 2016 F150 4x4 5.0V8 w/6sp transmission w/tow mod. 74k Miles, FX4 package, Chrome package, Max tow package, & Lux package in Bronze Fire Red color. I paid the same price I would have for the Maverick and I absolutely love it!

I do honestly believe the F150 would be better for me in the long run compared to the Maverick, I’m very glad I stumbled upon this truck!!!

(And to add insult to injury, I saw about 20 Mavericks on the road on the trip there and back, had to go out of state for the F150)

Great looking truck. IF it is not more than you need, it was a good move. If it is more than you need, you can pick up a used Maverick within your budget in three or four years! 👍

You can always stop back in and "visit"!! :)

You could always keep your order in and re-evaluate once it gets here! Did you have them cancel the order?
That would be a wise move for sure!

I was in the same boat, after a year of waiting my daily was near the end of the line so sold it for a good deal on a 2019 F150. However, the Maverick finally arrived last month after 670 days and now that I've driven it for about a week the F150 will be up for sale soon. I've always enjoyed driving F150s over the years but the hybrid's ~40mpg and size still fits my current mission much better. Enjoy the big truck, I know I'll miss mine.

Not yet, I thought about keeping it and making the decision when it comes in

Good idea, maybe the Maverick could be a backup car/truck in the future

Does anyone know if there is a F150 forum like this one for the Maverick?
