Life long country boy here. Parking in the city like that would give me nightmares. In order to get a decent night's sleep I would need to be driving a Mad Max mobile. How would that white car every get out without beating the hell out of everybody's bumpers any way? I could never live in a city.

I stay out of our largest city in the state and it is only 50K people. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

That bites, sorry to see that happen to you... Wow, how the hell you hit a parking truck like that? It's a good thing that you were able to track her down. She may change her mind about the insurance, once the full damage will be known...
The body damage doesn't look bad, may just buff out. On the other hand the Maverick rolled forward about two feet. Check the transmission to make sure that it's a OK...

Typical driver worried about her own vehicle. Didn't notice her looking at your truck. Wonder if she was playing on her phone or messing with the radio. Maybe these Mavericks are just to big. I will get a dash cam. Seems these trucks are magnets to other drivers.

Easy, if your futzin' w/ the infotainment system or some other device.

LOL What insurance? Not very likely she has any.

From what I can see, she is leaning toward the center of the vehicle until the hit. Either playing with the radio or something or falling asleep.
Luckily she didn't hit it straight on the bumper or it could be totaled. That damage looks repaiable. Looks like the tire saved it from being worse.
Wish you good luck in getting it fixed.

It's beyond me to still hit a vehicle with a few feet of room on each side of the road, let alone hitting a very bright colored vehicle that sticks out. But like others have said, it's definitely distracted driving. Either fumbling with the infotainment system or, what's typical in today's society, messing with her phone. I wish you the best in getting it repaired. It's too bad clueless idiots have to ruin the nice things that we all work so hard for.

that white car has plenty of space. Parking is the hard part, getting out is normally fairly easy

She was distracted by her phone. She said her phone dropped and she was reaching for it.
