For those of you who have matching decals on both sides of your truck, how do you keep them aligned? I have a decal that I’ve been nervous to put on because I’m worried they’re not going to be symmetrical
I’ll try tomorrow. They were closed by the time I finished the install yesterday and I’m guessing they’re closed for the holiday today.
I was hoping someone may have seen the problem before and had an easy solution
Hey everyone, I recently bought a Truxedo Sentry CT for my 22 Maverick. Just installed it today, with pretty much no problems. Got to the end, and got confused because it wouldn’t lock shut.
Come to find out the latch on the passengers side is stuck inside the receptacle. Has anyone dealt with...
That image looks completely different than this one. Is that the one you’re planning on making?

Some of you all sound like you’re borderline hyper miling. I’ve driven other hybrids with worse posted MPG and haven’t had to do any of this to get close to the posted MPG. I’m averaging 34 mpg in the Mav (mostly city) which is almost lower than both the city and highway mpg ratings.
Is the speed limit on your local highway low, or do you only drive up to 50mph to maximize mileage?
because the speed limits in my neck of the woods are between 60-75. The most common is about 70mph. And that’s the speed limit not the for of traffic. I couldn’t imagine driving 45 on the highway
There’s a video on YouTube about this. I’ll try to find it again.
But basically, it’s just there because the metal is hot as hell in the summer. So it gives you something to touch the cover by that won’t burn your hands. There’s no other purpose. The newer models of that cover have a new design...
yeah, heating up. I threaded it. It got stuck. I couldn’t remove it at all. I felt I was more likely to break something trying to get it back out. It’s “only” medium strength, but it was being stubborn.
The easiest way to remove loctite (once it’s already on a threaded bolt), is to add heat. So...
I tried to do this and it got stuck. It’s currently in my oven heating up so I can just remove it.
How is it holding up for you? The reviews specifically from Maverick owners suggest it has a tendency to fall off
I saw a video on YouTube about some guy that went through 3 of that version (under warranty). Then he got sent a new version that doesn’t have that issue. I believe that fabric is just there to give you something that’s not scorching to touch in the summer.
Looks like the newer model doesn’t...
