Hello everyone. New Maverick owner here. We bought a 2023 XLT 2.0 AWD with towing package to replace my wife's problematic 2014 Hyundai Tuscon so the Mav is hers. I drive a 2017 Tacoma.

Loving it so far and have installed the drop in liner, Musology mud flaps and cut down a 3/4" horse stall mat for a bed mat which weighs about 70lbs.

Thanks for a great forum and glad to be here.

Nice truck! I’m in rural SW Missouri. My property looks just about the same as yours. Ha! I’m sure your wife will love her new MAV. Congrats!

Thanks man. We live out in the woods on 24 acres. Cars are always dirty thanks to 1.5 miles of dirt road but it's worth it.

She's loving the Mav so far. That Tuscon was a thorn in our side for some time so it was good to get her into something reliable.

I miss Arkansas. Lived there for 7 years as C-130 flight crew out of Little Rock. Northern Arkansas is incredibly beautiful - especially from the cockpit of a C-130 flying tactical low level through the river valleys.

Love that floor mat. Looks good.

Oh yeah, I know about the dirt as I live on a 200 acre cattle ranch. It’s about the same distance for me before I hit the tarmac. Love it here, though.

Howdy from west Memphis AR. One worst places to live. Used to live over close to Imboden sure do miss the hills. Currently on way to your neck of the woods. Had to leave my Mav at home as it would be a bit tight for 5 of us and all our geejaw. Mine is a 22 cauctus gray lariat AWD. Sure am missing it on this trip.

Great looking truck! Congratulations to your wife! She will love it! The tailgate assist might be a nice addition for her 😊

Thanks for the warm welcome from you all.
@Scott Asheville thanks on the mat. I cut it and put in in while waiting on the drop in liner and then had to cut it again after I installed it. Miracle I didn't cut my hand off cutting that thick dude.

@Sliphorn Sounds like you have a great place. The dirt is worth the view and peace and quiet

@imboden013 I feel ya. I can't believe how comfortable this little guy is. It has surprised me. Such a bargain

@GreenLady Thanks. I have been looking at those kits. I like the slow lowering gate on my Tacoma and plan to install the kit on the Mav

We’re in my wife’s Explorer limited and it’s not as comfortable or drive as well as the Mav and the Explorer also gets about 7mpg less than the Mav.

I was really shocked at how well the Mav does on trips and getting 27mpg. Super comfortable vehicle. I was surprised at it and feel it's the best deal available on a new vehicle. I really do love this thing.

If it is reliable I feel like there is no better value in a vehicle available on the market. So much more comfortable with more features than my Tacoma at a better price.

I love mine, I gets great gas mileage. Averaging 34mpg on highway and about 24 city. I drive very conservatively rarely go faster than 65 and use the cruise control extensively. The Explorer is showing 27.5 on this trip from west Memphis to Fayetteville. We came across country so very little expressway.

Great looking truck and welcome to the forum from North Central Texas. We are a two Maverick family and you are on the money. Nothing comes close in terms of value, comfort, versatility, etc. I moved out of a fancy RAM Laramie 1500 with every bell and whistle into my Maverick Lariat hybrid and have never looked back. It is super comfortable and the size is perfect. Now just stay away from those Razorbacks and have many years of happy Mavericking.

The horse stall mat makes a great heavy-duty bed mat. Two questions for ya:
  • How do ya like the Muslogy mud flaps?
  • What NWA dealership are you using for warranty work?
