2023 Lariat Hybrid no cruise control

My son just picked up his Lariat hybrid and not long after our 4 hour ride home he hit the cruise button and nothing happens. Anyone had this issue?

Press the cruise button, then toggle the up-down button for selecting your speed. It's not enough to only press the button cruise button. Page 219 of your manual...

Should a green light with cruise sign come on dash when cruise button is pressed?

On my xl it just says Set under the infotainment...nudge tge left toggle up or down to set. Obviously after turning it on. This is set but on cancel so this is how xl shows.

We cannot see anything turn on and hitting up down buttons does nothing

It's in the owner's manual. If instructions there don't work, take it back to the dealer.

I have read the owner's manual. The reason for these forums is to help others and learn. You don't just go back to dealer and they drop what they are doing for you.

Another thing to test on the test drive…

Only my Lariat, that has the auto cruise, as soon as I hit the cruise button, a grey indicator lights up. As soon as I toggle the left switch up, it turns green with the speed that was set.

It would not have mattered after waiting 10 months we were taking the truck

It did have 40 miles on it when we got in it

I’ve always said that a lariat is just an xl with some make up.
