How many First Editions were produced and does it add value?

I’ve been doing online searches and haven’t been able to find how many FEs were made? I’m getting ready to sell/trade and I would think a FE would have a premium. Carmax doesn’t ask or count anything for a FE.

The First Edition package is only available to equip on the 2022 Ford Maverick Lariat, and adds an extra $1,495 to the cost of the pickup. It includes the following content:

• 17-inch unique aluminum wheels on gas only (includes 235/65R17 aggressive A/T tire)
• 18-inch black-painted wheel on hybrid only (includes 225/60R18 A/S BSW tires)
• Black painted roof
• Black mirror skull caps
• Power tilt/slide moon roof
• Tonneau cover – soft folding
• Unique First Edition hood and side graphics decals

I didn’t order it, it was on the one I found at a dealer. I didn’t like the black skull caps because of chips so I bought covers lol!
im seeing resale prices of $40k + on Carvana.

I would sell at $50k. And at $40K. All day every day.

To each their own. Not dropping $15k more on different hybrid. I like the attention every time I drive it. Wow. 150 lightning dropped price $10k to $95k. No thanx.

I think the FE was worth the money, the black painted roof and the moon roof was a nice addition - plus the bed cover. I also have a MY23 CG Lariat with almost all options except the moon roof that I took delivery of less than 3 months ago.

Just for fun, I checked Carvana last weekend to see what they would offer and was shocked to receive the offer of $29K! I paid more for it as it has Lux package, 360 Assist, SIBL and bed rails. I too was expecting to see a $40K+ offer...

It doesn't matter as I don't plan to sell it, but I did wonder why such a low offer.

I did the same and Vroom was 3,000 higher than Carvana.
