And if you don't want a basic truck like above Tesla's Cybertruck started rolling off the assembly line in Austin today. The special feature is the still haven't announced pricing yet. Guess you find out the price when you sign the paper work when it arrives.

XL Hybrid + CoPilot 360 + Hitch went from $24,440 to $27,245 for a $2,805 increase.

Is there no discount on the Spray in bed liner and tie down anymore for a 2024?

It seems all dealers are telling everyone today they're going to "roll over" or "convert" all 23 orders to 24 "automatically".
They do not want Ford to cancel any of these orders that people are not going to pick up They want them.
This is exactly what Ford was trying to avoid but botched it completely.
So we're all still stuck in line with the people that rightfully bailed out after 10 months never going to pick up their trucks but the dealers want them.
That's no different than the individuals in here saying they ordered two Mavericks at different dealers, then failing to cancel their order that didn't get built first. They were wanting both, so they could resale one above MSRP, but afraid to commit to the second dealer to receive their second order due to Ford increasing production to fix the supply/demand ratio resulting in after market sales being closer in line with traditional prices of used cars.

Anyone else notice when you add BAP and view the interior shots it is showing all the lower console trim, seat side trim, and sill plate/kick panels change to black in the photos? To double check, on a desktop computer, bring up the picture of the side of the interior and scroll on the right side bar up to the BAP option and toggle it on and off. The trim changes from navy to black. Dash and main door panels are still navy, which is okay, but the ugly mismatched console and seat trim are black/charcoal.

If the online photos are accurate this alone will offset the fact I am not getting a slider and lose the wiper de-icer and keypad alone! I have always thought the Navy blue trim on otherwise black seats and the console looked awful.

Just for kicks, I rebuilt my 2023 order with the 2024 Build and Price app. The primary difference for me was the requirement to have FX4 and 4K packages combined since FMC now requires you to get the 4K if you want FX4. Ultimately it's a $745 adder to the MSRP.

Even after discounting the incremental $745 cost of the 4K package, a 2024 Maverick would cost me approximately $1600 more than 2023. Although FMC has slightly lowered the cost of the XLT Lux package, the base MSRP cost has gone up $1500 and destination charges have increased $100.

The major bummer for me is that for 2024 FMC is mandating the drop-in liner instead of the SIBL. It's also chintzy to force black mirror caps instead of the matching color caps, but that obviously saves FMC money. The only value-added features I see being included for 2024 in the XLT Lux package are the full size spare and the remote start.

Unless I realized that I really really want / need the 4K package (which I don't truthfully), there's no reason for me to order a 2024. Good luck to everyone who's ordering one.........

Nope, still look Navy Pier on mine. Those pictures always looked dark like they were black.

Well you cant get my 23 Tremor the same way in 24. And it would cost about $2200 more the way you can get it. Also a budget XL 4k AWD is now over $28k with bed rails and splashguards.

I think there are a lot of us that are tired of the Ford Maverick horror/nightmare process. And now with the price increases I'm on the fence. I'm going today to look at the toyota rav-4, hybrid again. It's price is less than a 24 lariat. And the 24 lariat is about 5K more than the 23 I ordered. Plus waiting for ford to build a truck for me for another year or so is BS!
Plus I have to deal with the same dealer that couldn't get my order for the 23. I have never heard squat from them. I have to call and leave a message. Not good. I have zero faith in Ford and their dealers.
If you are looking at Rav4 why did you order a truck? Sounds like an identity crisis.

My hybrid lariat build is like $4000 more… (I had all options expect the spray in bed liner) something must be funky

'23 = $33,630 (Lariat Hybrid, Remote Start, Luxury, Co-pilot 360 and Co-pilot 360 Assist)
'24 = $37,230 (Lariat Hybrid)

Ford better hand over a nice private offer, that's wild
My 23 Lariat order had few options, so I REALLY hope the private offer helps offset the price difference. If not I might have to just keep my current Maverick (which is a pretty awesome vehicle) and pass on the ‘24. I suspect there will be a large number of people who go ahead and order a ‘24 but then decide to not buy it when it arrives at the dealership. I don’t blame Ford since even with the price increases the Mavericks are a better deal than most other new vehicles, but it’s frustrating nonetheless…

MY24 ordered...........
My 23 is "in production".

My 23 is a Cactus Lariat Hybrid (non-Lux) with moonroof and hitch. Sticker before tax of $31,725.00
My 24 is a Terrain XLT Hybrid Luxury with BAP and Co-Pilot. Before tax is $33,980.

Definitely a difference in price. But, with my options, I think it's a fair deal. We all knew they would go up.

To me the point of the Maverick was the entry price point. Fuel mileage was just an added benefit.

Depending on how Ford does these private cash offers, these 2024 prices put it too close to other, more capable vehicles.
Totally agree. I have owned two hybrid mav's (still own one, sold the other) and the price is too close to much better options. I love my Mav and at the lower MSRP I paid, it was well worth it. Now I am seeing builds in the low to mid $40K price ranges and you could gold plate a Maverick and it still would not be worth that amount. The low entry level price point was what made it so attractive. Once you start piling options on, it loses it's advantage over other better and more capable options. Once you cross that mid $30K range, you have a lot of options including the Tacoma. I think a lot of people who haven't been able to get one are getting blinded to what the prices have gone to just because they so desperately want one.

I just priced out the MY24 version of what I ordered last year (which is now scheduled to build!!!), and the MSRP is now more than what my MY23 version is after I add taxes. I was considering ordering one anyway, but I think I'll wait and see if they start including a plug-in or full EV in MYs 25/26

It's typical at the dealers I've been to. The receptionist gets you to a salesperson or your existing salesperson. I came with my existing order. She gave me the standard answer she was supposed to give all the carryover customers. The order banks will open up some time around 4:30 EST, they will put in our '24 orders automatically and send us an email in the next 3 days. I asked to speak to a manager. He said they had a team ready to carry over the orders as soon as the bank opens. I was hoping to hear of someone sucessfully putting in their '24 order into the new order bank so I can go back to the dealer and have them carry over mines and get a physical confirmation that the '24 carryover order took place.
I went to my dealership this morning and placed my carryover order with the same salesman that has kept in touch with me since last September. He did the paperwork on my order and said he’d send me a copy or screenshot of the accepted order after the order banks opened this afternoon around 4:00-4:30. No new signing of a deal sheet and no new deposit. I trust this guy to make sure it’s done right (can you say “naive”?). We’ll see late this afternoon. He gave me a copy of the build paperwork, but said the deal sheet doesn’t print until the order is accepted by Ford…and that can’t happen until the order bank officially opens.
