So I currently have an unscheduled hybrid xlt 23 order using X-plan that is likely not going to be built this year. I am likely to order a 24 with the private offer that the ford email talked about. When I check my x-plan it doesnt even list the 24 model, is that something the dealership just calculates when its available?

The x plan page probably hasn't been updated yet. Also you'll most likely need a new pin at the time of purchase. Your pin is only good for 1 year.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t X plan only worth ~250$ on the Maverick?

My employer gave me the employer code and allows me access to the x-plan pricing, etc. It says I can generate a pin but the dealership never requested it for the x-plan pricing. So I haven't generated the pin yet.

And limits the doc fee the dealer can charge as well.
My dealership slapped a $230 doc fee; however, I told them the x-plan limits the doc fee to $100. He said that the $230 was the amount applicable to law. Not sure if it was bs but didn't think much of it at the time and just wanted the order in.

Believe the rules of the x-plan specifically say it is $100 max unless the law allows less. Sounds like one of those dealers that tries to convince people these fees are required by law vs. regulated by law. I suppose getting the order in was the right move and then you can fight it later, as I'm sure Ford would not like a dealer violating it's terms.

EDIT:

Here's the relevant section:

Document Fees
  • Dealers will be permitted to assess up to $100 in documentary fees on each delivery to an eligible purchaser under the terms of the Plan, unless otherwise provided by state or local laws or regulation. Each dealer is responsible for complying with applicable laws or regulations.
  • Unless otherwise provided by state or local laws or regulation: In states where dealers are not permitted to charge as much as $100 for doc fees, dealers would be capped at the lesser amount as provided by the state. In states that permitted more than $100, dealers would be permitted to charge the Plan customer $100. In states that permitted more than $100 and also required that all customers be charged the same amount, dealers may charge the Plan customer $100 and indicate any additional fees have been paid by Ford Motor Company or Lincoln Motor Company as part of the AXZD-Plan Program dealer reimbursement on the buyer's order.
  • Doc Fee Charges should be detailed on the AXZD Plan Pricing Agreement located in number 4.
So bottom line is yes, you should not be charged more than $100.

That dealer is in violation of the X-Plan Program Rules. The state allows $230 but X-Plan only allows $100 so that prevails. Which MI dealer was this charging higher than permitted doc fees, Serra?

You don’t need to generate a new Xplan number so quickly unless yours is expired. They are good for a year

Do you have to show x plan code at time of order? I’m joining the MCA and have to wait 90 days to get x plan pricing. I’m in Florida and the dealership fees are $999.00.

You don't need the pin # until purchase is made. You do have to let the dealer know that you are using the X-plan.

MY24 XLT with FWD EcoBoost, CP360, and tow hitch build got a $342.18 discount from MSRP. Doc limited to $100 with X plan so my total savings was $492.18 since dealer normally charges $250 for it. $500 Farmers bureau rebate beats this.

No you don't. Speak with your dealer though and make sure they accept x-plan. I let my dealer know and then reminded him again when I went to pick up the truck. You will need your card at time of pick up though.
