I agree the free ford pass app is handy for remote starting. However, not all of us are lucky enough to live in an area with sufficient cell coverage to allow the built in remote start to work. For that reason, I’ll be adding this kit to my father’s Maverick

My fathers Maverick did this for the first time Saturday. Noticeable at speeds over 60 mph, depending on how hard the wind was blowing/direction. Plan to look for anything obvious later this week. Otherwise will have our dealership look at it when in for the next service.

And limits the doc fee the dealer can charge as well.

The Keypad (vertical orientation) being discussed/is wired, not the stick on wireless (horizontal orientation) accessory. I agree the newer style that are flush/integrated int the pillar do look nicer. I felt that the Maverick retainig a pad with real buttons was in keeping with Fords larger...
