Anyone able to parse through the below correspondence from Ford Chat today?

Thank you for your patience, James. Your vehicle is in production. When an order is "In Production," it is being manufactured at one of our factories. Your vehicle is expected to be produced and awaiting shipment by 8/15/2023. The secondary status is "Produced".You can track your order by going to: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking . You may click on the “+” sign at the bottom of this window to, print, email, or end this conversation. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?

What’s the difference between Produced and Built? And what could possibly be the hang up for my build that it won’t ship until August 15? My BCE modules have popped, I don’t have a tear tag or PCM yet.

Produced is kind of like “built” but it’s not ready to be released yet for what ever reason…. Mine was stuck as “produced” for over a month while waiting for what ever parts they needed to complete it to release it as “built” and awaiting shipment.

It has started the production cycle. The status that means anything is "Released to shipping". It could take days to weeks to enter production and finish depending on what items have to be added after assembly, like bedliners. Or if it has problems going through final inspections.

Then it sits waiting for the right railcar to be loaded on. That could be a couple to many days. Once it status says shipped then you need to check with your dealer for them to see the exact location each day as it travels to the drop yard. Once at the drop yard it can sit for days to weeks to get on a transport truck to the dealer.

Ford chat won't have accurate data once shipped and the railroad tracking phone syste can also be inaccurate.

Got it. Just seems strange as the only thing that isn’t bare bones is CP360 and I guess the floor liners but even those should just get tossed on a seat.

So its status has updated to built today. Let’s see if it actually takes 6 weeks like they said on Ford Chat yesterday.

Mine shipped from the plant on June 16th and was unloaded off the railcar yesterday in Orlando, Florida. Just waiting on the dealership's car carrier to do their job and deliver it. Good luck!

After waiting over 20 months so this last part of the wait is hard! 😬

Been tracking the railcar and was impressed with how smoothly it moved through their system. The cool thing was getting a call from my dealership on Monday to tell us our Maverick is close and should be in this week. :D
