It's been over 20 years since we purchased our last vehicle. We take extremely good care of them and they continue to serve us and others well. This journey started over a year ago, when we were concerned about the need to eventually replace our gas guzzling 2002 Mercury Mountaineer with a more fuel efficient small truck. We already have a Prius we love that still gives great mpgs. Anyway the search and research began. We listened to several YouTube channels about how to purchase a vehicle from Ray and Zach on Car Edge and Tim Bartz from Long MacArthur Ford, and many others . We read everything we could about the Maverick online. We discovered the amazing Maverick Truck Club Forum. We were excited to purchase accessories from RealTruck.com, and received great customer support from EGR.com and if course Amazon.

Up until now I would not mention our dealership name (Fair Oaks Ford in Naperville, Illinois) until we received our Maverick and were satisfied with our purchasing experience. Well we have our Maverick and absolutely love it. Our purchasing experience overall has been great. It started off shaky but they worked hard to make things right.

We also know that our journey was made easier and I dare say more exciting because of so many people sharing what they know, their experiences and their creativity.

We are thankful for the MTC forum and all who contribute to making it an informative, inspirational and supportive site.

Thank you. May the Maverick line hold up to its Title of Ford Tough. I'm old school in thinking you buy things to last and learn how to maintain and repair to extend their life. Some people purchase things until the next best version comes out with no intention of repair. Everything has to be covered under warranty. Not everyone wants or is inclined to do their own maintenance or repairs. No judgment either way. We just personally opt for longevity in products.

I am the same. I like to tinker and DIY so maintenance comes naturally
