Picked up my 2023 Area 51 XLT Hybrid a week ago. 2k mile roundtrip, but worth it! Came with the Lux package, CP360, and sliding glass window. Photo was right at the Colorado/Wyoming border.

Really sharp vehicle! Ours is sitting on a railcar in Louisville, KY on its way to us. This makes the wait that much harder.

That is great to hear! I'm calling the rail carrier daily to check the progress of the railcar. I've waited over 20 months and chomping at the bit!

I remember seeing it somewhere but now can't find it with a search..... Does anyone here have an A51 with Orange accents on exterior or Green Accents on exterior? If so I would love to see pictures. I'm not sure what accent color for vinyl I want to do

My money manager (wife) said it was time to get new cars, and I really didn’t want to enter the Maverick ordering lottery. Was blessed to find a 2023 XLT with only 550 miles at CarMax. And now she’s mine!

I just sold my Area 51 First Edition (2022 model with 5,675 miles) to CarMax to make room in the garage for the '23 Cyber Orange Lariat (details in signature) that finally arrived. If you're looking for a '22 First Edition Lariat in Area 51, CarMax N Austin (TX) should have it listed pretty soon. Likely won't be cheap, though, since they paid me a LOT for it!

My wife thought I was crazy to want to swap, until she saw the Cyber Orange in person, and heard what CarMax was willing to pay for the '22. Sorry to all the A51 lovers (me too - it's a really nice color), but Cyber Orange just ROCKS! It looks different from every angle, sunlight vs shadow, etc. The fact that Ford has now discontinued Cyber Orange for the Maverick means that I won't have any trouble finding my truck in the Costco parking lot! LOL

Finally! After my original order of a ‘22 A51 evolved into a ‘22 CarbGray that someone didn’t want I finally picked up my ‘23 A51 that was delivered 7/7 (estimated 7/20-8/6) while I was out of town. I was final able to pick my A51 yesterday and join the A51 club My first day out and a couple was already checking it out when I got back from my morning walk. 18 months with the CarbGray and barely anyone noticed or commented! They loved the color!

Just came back from having new shoes installed and figured I'd post a couple of snaps.

I'll add more details to this later but some of the things I've done so far are adding black Ford badges and a matte cover over the edge to hide the chrome. I removed the tailgate's chrome AWD badge and instead added black ones to the lower doors, which I feel adds a subtle accent. I've also added the embossed Maverick lettering on the tailgate.

There are a couple of accents I still need to black out but it's getting there!

Wheels are 17x8 RTX Dakar and are wrapped in 245/65-17 BFGoodrich Trail Terrains. They're brand new so the lettering is still blue-tinted. That'll wash away.

The tonneau cover is the OEM Rev roll up. The bed was sprayed by Line-X.

I'm getting ready for a camping trip so I've picked up a hitch cargo rack. It can hold up to 500lbs, which is more than the Maverick can even support on the tongue.

Good times await!
