I'm also curious about the actual benefits from it.It looks nice, but does it increase the wind noise at high speed?
Oh wow I love your maverick! The rims and the fog lights. What brand of side window sills(?) are those?yes . i bought the first one they had from ford accessories in 2022

I might have to get bothHave had both for well over a year now, there’s no advantages as far as aero or mpg purely cosmetic and as far as wind noise idk I don’t pay attention because if that annoys you, you probably shouldn’t be driving.

I bought everything from the Ford Accessories Website even the windows visors. And thanksOh wow I love your maverick! The rims and the fog lights. What brand of side window sills(?) are those?
No extra noise that I noticed. (I really, really HATE wind noises! Am very grateful that the fan is so quiet, since, if you shut it off, you get ZERO flow-through ventilation.)I'm also curious about the actual benefits from it.
I have to think if there were real world benefits, they would have surfaced in the wind tunnel testing? I know in trucking they smooth out the airflow over the trailer, but on the Mav it seems like it's more for looks than anything else?
Someone create a wind tunnel or use a bunch of stick on things like they use on airplanes and such or use smoke during testing to see if this thing works. Butt dyno's don't count.
That makes sense. It just seems really aggressively pointed upwards so I was curious. I'm sure it does benefit a small amount, even if it's in the 100th decimal place. It's funny you mention wind noise because it's never bothered me but I added the EGR window deflectors and I noticed an increase in the noise. Never noticed an increase in any other vehicle before the Mav.No extra noise that I noticed. (I really, really HATE wind noises! Am very grateful that the fan is so quiet, since, if you shut it off, you get ZERO flow-through ventilation.)
Seems to give a bit more rain protection with the rear window open. Seems true when both stopped or underway.
Wow that looks insane! With the white letters and dark color. Wow
Adhesive still holding as your "back rack"? I like the idea of protecting the roof paint from carrying stuff. Not to mention it looks good. Just curious about its ability to stay put with some weight put on it over time.Got the cabin spoiler to act as a back rack, for carrying longer “stuff”. I keep the tailgate up, laying the “stuff” across the gate and the spoiler. Better than scratching up the roof paint.
I think that it looks pretty nice, too. Maintains the monotone color scheme.

Haven’t carried anything heavy on it, YET!Adhesive still holding as your "back rack"? I like the idea of protecting the roof paint from carrying stuff. Not to mention it looks good. Just curious about its ability to stay put with some weight put on it over time.
