Finally coming together. 🤩 Picked up my Maverick at the end of March, then ordered the camper shell. Had to wait 7 weeks but it finally came in and I got it installed today. There's an interior light and it is carpet lined. Very happy with how it turned out. Kudos to Jim at Mobile Living in Concord, CA, for getting it done. They also did the SIBL. 👍👍

Update:

This is an Avenn roof and kayak rack system I had on an old Outback. Feel like hitting the road right now 🤨 but don't really want to drive anywhere Mem Day Wkd. 🤪

You need a stubby antenna so you can carry a surf board! It looks great, better than the snugtop in my opinion.

Looks good, but not big enough to sleep inside?

"Looks good, but not big enough to sleep inside?"

Not even close, even with the tail gate down. 🤣

I'm an electrician and need my stuff secure and out of sight.

And the guy at Mobile Living said I can now register as a SUV vs. a commercial tag without the shell. Commercial is more expensive in CA.

Nice, thanks for sharing. Been waiting 7 weeks on an ARE MX (mid-rise). I figure it's not coming anytime soon, so this is hope. I'm thinking with the tailgate down I could sleep once in a while, I 'aint tall. Amazon has "Mid-Size Truck Camper Tent" by DAC. Might pair well.

I don't think it's that $$ for what you get. Top end tonneau's and rack systems were approaching the price of the ARE. I did get the stubby but I don't think it's a "must have". Just unscrew the antenna when needed.

I like the looks of the ARE cap better than the one you supposedly can order from ford. I don’t know what it is but they just don’t look right.
If I had an F150 I would put one in tomorrow.

Really like the ARE paint match. Thanks so much for sharing.

Can you estimate how much it weighs?

Where did you grab a shorter antenna ? That's just what I need. Thx.

Do they make a shorter antenna? Only a matter of time before I break that bad boy off. 🙄
